Being from Dallas I was so excited excited for Torchy’s from Austin to open in St. Pete! We are regulars. The BEST queso. Margaritas are excellent. We love to eat in the bar area and enjoy our Tex-Mex! Great food and great service! Try it! You will not be sorry!

These tacos are no joke! Torchy’s is an absolute gem! I got the Tipsy Chick taco, and the Mr. Orange taco. They were incredible, but the Tipsy Chick is one of the best tacos I’ve ever had. The street corn was amazing as well. Service was fairly quick, and efficient. Enjoyed lunch here, definitely give it a visit if you’re around!

Large menu and many options to choose from. Tacos were made with fresh ingredients. Order multiple different tacos to try. All were good! Food is ordered at counter then brought to your table or one could sit at the bar. Restaurant was very clean. Highly recommend the Brushfire, Crossroads and Fried Avocado tacos. What I enjoyed the most was their Sangria Swirl – who knew Sangria and a margarita together would be so good!

I love tacos and our area has some awesome places I’d prefer than here. No HARD shell?? Come on man! They make flour and corn soft shell only. If you can find a seat at the small bar; it’s the best place to eat; selection of beer is minimal. You can order food from there and enjoy it with a libation. If not, you walk up to order your food at the counter then have a seat, there’s inside and outside seating.. The food is okay and pricey when you realize you get one taco per dish; most adults can eat two so keep that in mind when ordering. The Bushfire taco is definitely not as hot as I thought it would be, Trailer Park was okay. The best was the Street corn dish. It’s off the cob for neater eating. There’s a lot of hype and following for this place, I’m not convinced why

Man do I feel ripped off I can’t believe the food pictured here cost $30. The burrito bowl was less than half full with mostly rice. For 6bucks the taco wasn’t big enough or tasty enough to be worth it. Pretty much taco bell food for gourmet prices. Going somewhere else next time.

That was some great eats! We Had the chicken burrito that did not disappoint, plus two tacos that was not only a great size but packed with flavor to! Friendly staff member took our order and asked if we had any questions or concerns. Will definitely come back again.

Came to torchys for the first time today. Disappointed is an understatement. 1. For $6+ per taco I was expecting something full of flavor that stands out. Not so much here. They look good but are lacking. 2. Meat didn’t taste fresh. I had the crossroads and tipsy chick. 3. Kid’s quesadilla is an absolute joke (see pic). I’d expect them to spend another 10 cents and put it on an tortilla that’s not the same size as a street taco tortilla. First and last time coming here. 4. Service was good – hence the 2 stars vs 1.

Torchy’s Tacos was just like their motto, Damn Good! A nice and refreshing spot to go to coming from the beach. The picture with the single taco was the Republican and the other pic was Chicken Fajita and Baja Shrimp. All tacos were incredible and perfectly priced for a portion of its caliber. The chips and dip are a must, especially the Hillbilly con Chorizo! Great ambience and decorations. Bar and outside seating available.

I’ve been super pumped to come here ever since they opened earlier this year and today was the day I swung by for lunch.

Came here for their free Queso on their opening day and I’ve been a regular ever since. They’ve got a full bar and the margarita is pretty good. My personal favorite here are Baja shrimp and brushfire. Diablo sauce is a musty try.
