This was never a high-class Society upper-class type of place. It was called The Little Dipper it was just your local little bar where you go get a cold beer. Since the movement of others from other states into the East Saint Paul rental districts the clientele has changed quite a bit. December 6th 2022 just last night a man was killed outside of this bar by the police. Just a few months ago in the summer 2022 there was a big shootout right on the corner almost right in front of this place. It’s sad to see this neighborhood turn into Chicago but there you go.

Your experience here will vary greatly depending on the bartender and the day of the week. Amanda is great but I’m not sure shes still working there. The food is really simple and good but can be slow. The music is pretty loud as long as the jukebox is on. There is a nice, fairly large patio outside.

A good place for a group. It’s not that big but on nice days the outdoor patio and smoke area helps with that. Pool table, darts, pool tabs, and the bartenders are cool. They serve good pub food. No deejay but the jukebox has a variety of music. We’ve played cards and dance around.

Best neighborhood bar ever!!!!! Sweet and simple. Great food, great drinks, & great service. Great environment. I Love them & I will never stop coming. Chris is great. Also I can’t remember her name, but she typically works day shift. She is a little older but she’s awesome sauce.
