I really liked the menu, some creative dishes! Unfortunately, what we ordered wasn’t cooked well. The eggs were (we went for brunch) overcooked – the food was cold… the bacon, we asked for crispy – done to perfection! Server was very nice.

The food was outstanding! The service however was quite lacking. I guess if you don’t know the male bartender that’s serving he’s too busy talking to people he does know then to take your order. I ordered a side that came out after my husband had finished his meal and mine was almost.

Visited for restaurant week. Had probably one of the top 3 burgers ever! Drinks were delicious and well priced. Service was also good! Great upgrade from Shadow. Perfect addition to Hertel.

Some of the best Wings I have had! And for my wife the GF options were also great. The server, I wish I remember her name, a blonde girl, was very busy but she was on top of everything, fast, friendly, knowledgeable. It was a while back when we were there, but both the service and the quality of the food were very memorable. I would say they should add some dampeners to the ceiling for sound, but it wasn’t loud enough for me to drop my rating.

Went for brunch. Bloody Mary was pretty good but I’ve had better. Food was delicious but a little pricey. The bartender wasn’t very friendly.

The restaurant and atmosphere itself was nice, however we were very unsatisfied with our experience. Both our elk burgers were over cooked (ordered medium rare and they were beyond well done), my chargrilled wings were far past charred, fries were undercooked and could barely taste the truffle. When we told our server our dissatisfaction she seemed hardly bothered and no sort of fix or compensation was offered. Also when asked for opinions on dishes when ordering the suggestions were hardly convincing and I could tell there was no real passion or care towards the menu. Not the worst experience but likely won’t be back.
