A tourist in Florida, craving Caribbean food, about to leave for my long ride home, stumbled upon this little restaurant!! Oh my god am I glad I did!!! It hit the spot. I wanted the jerk chicken, which was sold out, so obviously it was delicious as well. I chose curry and I am very pleased. Well done ladies!! The restaurant was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly and polite.

This was a busy place, fast in and out. This was my first time here. The service was nice, and the beef patty was good. I saw some menu items I will be going back to try: oxtails and the curry chicken.

Very filling!! Ordered through Uber Eats and will definitely be ordering again. The food was PACKED in the container, to the point it didn’t want to open. First look of the plate was extremely tantalizing like really mouth watering! I had the jerk chicken with peas and rice and steamed cabbage as well as plantains on the side. Everything was cooked to perfection, well as close to perfect as possible. Like I said, definitely going back for more. Super glad I went with my gut and got the larger plate! I even asked for any type of spicy sauce they had since Uber eats didn’t have the option and they came through with that as well!! Amazing all around.

We got dinner here last night the food was okay. I got oxtails and rice there was hair in my food. I know sometimes you can get a hair from the cattle but this was no animal hair. Threw my plate away $20 something down the drain.

I got oxtail with rice and peas. I couldn’t finish the oxtail because it was really salty. The rice was sooo good !!! The jerk patty and coco bread is pretty good as well. The jerk chicken patty has a comfortable amount of spice. And I love that they have a wide variety of drink options.

The service I received today was disgusting, disheartening, and uncalled for. My fiancée and I made a quick stop at this Golden Krust location to grab a quick bite for ourselves and our kids. We ordered some jamaican patties and fried chicken. When we got to the car and opened the container with the chicken, it was all chopped up. In all my years of eating at Golden Krust I have NEVER gotten my fried chicken chopped up, and I’ve been to the Waterford Lakes, Kissimmee, Colonial AND Hiawassee location NUMEROUS TIMES. My fiancée did not want the chicken chopped up, and the way the bone was broken up into sharp pieces throughout the meat, it was not safe to give to my toddler who is Autistic. My fiancée went back into the restaurant to ask if they could replace the chicken and not chop it up and for whatever reason they couldn’t understand what he was asking for because of “his American accent”. When I went into the restaurant to try to rectify the issue, the 2 servers start swearing up and down that they ALWAYS chop the chicken up and a request has to be made to get the chicken whole when ordering. I explained to the ladies I’ve never had to ask for the chicken whole, and I’ve never had anyone serve me the chicken chopped up at any location in over 10 years. Secondly, they are not the ONLY employees that work there, so anyone else could’ve served the food differently. The employee who wasn’t serving me gets mad and starts chastising me for not wanting the chicken chopped up to the point where she starts talking to the customer she’s serving in her Jamaican twang chastising and mocking me and making statements suggesting that it’s a cultural issue saying that that’s how caribbean people eat it. They thought that because of my lack of an island accent that I was American and did not understand them. It was never a cultural thing it was a PERSONAL PREFERENCE and a matter of safety for my child.
