I really really wanted to love this place. The location is absolutely spectacular. The outdoor seating area on the river is one of the best I’ve ever been to. However. The service was reeeeeeally slow. Toward the end of the meal we were waiting for so long for the waiter to come by that my husband went to the car to wait with our child while I waited for the check. The staff all seemed to be very new.

Pricing is good considering the portion sizes.

Outstanding Peruvian spot. Beautiful and relaxing outdoor area overlooking Blackstone river. The Leche de Tigre and the Cocktail de Camarones appetizers were oustanding choices. Pescado a lo Macho was good, just maybe way too much squid on the topping. Service was very slow during our visit.

THE WORST SERVICE. I came here for my mothers birthday, the waiter must’ve came over twice. Once to take the drink order and once to take the food order. We were a party of 7. No refill on the pitcher of water, no ask if we wanted another drink. When we ordered our appetizer we requested plates he said “you just all pick out of the plate” I was appalled. My steak was cold we were given butter knives to cut steak…We had to request a steak knife with our steak meal. It was ridiculous. I wouldn’t come back if the meal was free save your money go elsewhere.

Great food, super helpful staff, and awesome location. The pace of the experience was very relaxing, as is the way for dining in most places outside the USA.

I wanted to like this place because we don’t have a lot of good restaurants in the area, and the atmosphere on the river is pretty cool, and with a little help this place could be good. The service was very slow and oblivious, the waitress would walk by our table without even looking at us, and it was a weeknight so the restaurant was less than 20% full. They had one of my wife’s favorite wines on the menu, but when they brought it, it was either really old and half turned to vinegar, or it was the wrong one, but they insisted it was right. Nevertheless they took it back and were supposed to bring the Riesling instead but never did, throughout the whole meal and never noticed my wife had no drink and we couldn’t get their attention without making a scene. On top of that they didn’t take it off the bill and had to have that fixed at the end, which also took so long we just got up and paid on the way out. I got the seafood paella which was kind of bland flavored but had a lot of seafood, squid and mussels (I had to flag down the bartender just to get a bowl for the shells). My wife got the ceviche which she didn’t really like but she’s had the ceviche other places and does like it in general, but the fish in this one was in bigger chunks which made it a little less appetizing. It also came with a lot of seafood which was good at least. Last thing I’ll say is their music for the deck was too loud and playing off some TV or something because every once in awhile you’d hear TV commercials or someone changing the TV channel. All of these things are fixable and I really hope they do. Maybe I’ll try again in 6 months and update my review.

We LOVED our food and the service. The only draw back was the live music was very very loud. We actually asked to move tables and that was better. If the music volume was better suited to the environment, would have been all 5 stars.

We’ve been wanting to try this place for some time and went yesterday afternoon. The atmosphere was great due to the location and outside seating but unfortunately that’s about as far as good goes. We were a bit shocked at the prices but thought let’s give it a go. First the portions are so large we could have easily shared a main dish. My wife ordered the mixto ceviche…it was extremely acidic and just didn’t taste right. We just returned from a trip to Ecuador/Peru and it tasted nothing like it does in Peru. I ordered Pescado a la Macho it tasted as though the seafood was precooked/boiled and the sauce added afterwards which was flavorless.
