The cafe is amazing, I got a lavender latte and the the coffee was smooth, flavorful and velvety. The pastry’s were great too, workers were nice and the balcony is a perfect place for reading and drawing, view was pretty too. It was a bit busy, but the line moved surprisingly fast. A cute local cafe in the heart of Alexandria, VA. They have a balcony so you can sit up there and have a nice breakfast while enjoying the view of the river/water. The staff are very friendly and they serve your food within 10 mins. I wish they have more breakfast and pastries options though. I know they aren’t dunkin donuts or a breakfast restaurant, but for those that are hoping to get more than coffee I wish they offer more food options.

They have great desserts and coffee, their carrot cake is especially divine. However, after calling multiple times with no answer, I drove the 12 minutes to grab a slice of their carrot cake only to see 3 employees behind the counter and no carrot cake. A simple phone pickup could have alleviated the frustration.

This is one of the most recommended coffee places in Alexandria Old Town. The terrace on the second floor is nice and covered with the tent. Coffee is really good, you can get not just americano, but also french-press. Pastry is must be great, at least the Apple strudel was tasty.
