Best chicken salad I have had in a long time and I lived in Austin for 13 years. The shell of the taco salad had to be home made. It was light and crispy and fresh. I am sad that every time I make the 30 minute drive to go here when the hours say they are open, they are closed. This has happened to me twice already. Please open when Google hours and store posted hours on your day say that you are open. I would really like to come back.

Delicious food! Stopped in while visiting a friend and really enjoyed our tacos and taco salad. The guacamole and pico were made fresh and despite the long wait (lots of people coming in for togo orders and only one woman working) the food came to the table piping hot, full of flavor and dripping with fresh juices! Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back! Carnitas tacos were my favorite!!

Picked up food to go to take back to local brewery. The two ladies working were extremely friendly, but the wait was almost 30 minutes for two tacos and a torta sandwich. The tacos were okay, served with 2 four tortillas (I prefer corn) and were bland. I didn’t specify what to put on them, but figured they would come with some type of salsa in addition to lettuce, tomato, cheese, and sour cream. Out of the two, the chicken was the better one (the meat itself had a little seasoning). My husband ate his steak torta, but didn’t say much about it (which leads me to believe it was just okay as well). The food was reasonable priced and has potential as the meat was tender and not fatty, but they need to serve things with salsa on the side or something to add flavor that I can’t create at home on a taco night.

First visit but won’t be the last. Loved the menu selections. Chose the shrimp taco salad and it was amazing. We had the fruit punch Jaritos which is a favorite. Queso and salsa were both great!

Delicious food and reasonably priced! Don’t dismiss this place just because it’s in a narrow space in an otherwise unremarkable smallish strip mall. There are only a half-dozen tables, but when we were there for lunch on a Tuesday, they stayed fairly busy with eat-in and carryout. I ordered a tosta, and my wife ordered a soft taco. The food took a while to arrive, but we were more than ready to forgive the delay because the cook really knew what she was doing. This was definitely not fast food. Everything was freshly prepared, really tasty, and ample. The huge roll with my tosta was toasted to perfection, and the chicken was tender and juicy. The tosta came with a side of fries that were perfectly crispy and delectable.

You will think this place is a dump but wait till you get your food. As good as it comes for flavor and portions. Very reasonable prices as well. I’ve eaten Hispanic food from coast to coast and rate them a 5 out of 5.
