Food is amazing, food choices sounded odd but let me say odd is not at all bad! Service is great did not take long at all to get our food. Very inviting and old time environment, 60s-80s babies would love love looove!!Also amazingly priced food for the big portions. This place blows any other close local competition out of the water. My husband and I both work in the restaurant industry, and on our days off we like to go out to eat & try to avoid chain restaurants if we can help it. I saw some posts about this place on Facebook and had been wanting to try it out for a while now. We walked in late Monday night and had a wonderful experience. Our server, Nicole, was awesome. She explained the menu & told us that they were a scratch kitchen which was great to hear! My husband got the loaded fries with pot roast bites, and I got the wedge salad to start. Both were delicious, but I especially loved my salad. Everything was fresh, and it was so much more than just any run of the mill salad flavor-wise. For our entrees, my husband got the brisket grilled cheese with a side of crack mac. I got the crack mac side and added the mojo pork as well as a side of Brussels sprouts. My husband enjoyed his meal, as did I. The mac & cheese was delicious and the pork was very flavorful (they also make their own barbecue sauce)….however, I was astounded by the Brussels sprouts. I don’t even like Brussels sprouts that much, but I ordered them because I read about how good they were in previous reviews. They were not wrong!! Do yourself a favor and check this place out, we will definitely be back.

Came on a Thursday night for trivia and it was amazing. Small hole in the wall with a big personality. They have large good portions and the quality is wonderful. Our waitress was very friendly and quick even though she was working the whole restaurant. Owner and his son were out and about serving food and chatting everyone up. Where do I even start. This place is great, it’s beautiful on the inside and has a really nice outside area with music. Their bread is fantastic and has amazing flavor. We got the brisket in the pulled pork, and they were both very flavorful and well seasoned. The macaroni and cheese was fresh and the brussels sprouts were amazing. Definitely going to be a great new spot for cocoa beach!

Awesome new addition to the Space Coast! Awesome restaurant concept and awesome people (shout out to Brittany and Thania)! Did I mention awesome?! Owner Jesse is bringing his years of experience from Colorado and the FLA Keys to Cocoa Beach, and I am definitely (and selfishly) rooting for him! The awesome, build-a-meal, comfort food menu is based on his 5 great things, and I can’t wait to try each one! The delicious 48-hour marinated pork on top of creamy homemade mac and cheese was a great first-dish, and the (frickin’ huge) biscuit was amazing! And don’t forget a giant slab of carrot cake with cream cheese frosting for dessert! Indoor and outdoor seating, a full bar, something going almost every night (live music, trivia, Karaoke, etc), a great HH every day of the week (even weekends), and a fits-right-in Cocoa Beach vibe! Do yourself a favor and head to Big Daddy J’s 5 Great Things to see (and taste) for yourself!

First time visiting, had lunch with my two boys. No kids menu, but they gladly separated an adult portion of smoked mac and cheese into 2 bowls. Being kids, they are mac connoisseurs, they both loved it. I had the Frito pie, it was very good, I’d consider adding some brisket next time. Other reviews mentioned it getting expensive and I agree, we didn’t order any sides as they add on quite a bit. Service was good and friendly, we’ll be back.

I went there for the first time yesterday. Can you say AMAZING!!! It’s a quaint little place. The service was excellent and they were very friendly. They had a singer that was good and funny, but it wasn’t overly loud that you couldn’t talk and Cary on a conversation. But the best part was the food!!! Omg I got the brisket cimichanga and a side of potato salad. I have never had brisket as good as that!!! And I’m a southern girl! I know a good brisket! The cheese sauce over it was fabulous! It was fried perfect and loaded with the brisket! I took half home, I was so full!! So go there!! You will not be disappointed

This place is awesome! Food was great. Able to cater to anyone. Spicy margs are on point. Menu is flexible. I am gluten free and was able to customize a baked potato ‘taco style’. I believe it was a first. And it was delish. And huge. Kids loved their mac n chz too!! Everything scratch made.
