Great service, the food was just okay… I did like the free tortilla chips that came with the food though!

The food is ok, very lonely place. I’ve been here a few times and I honestly won’t be going back. They have a little girl(I think it’s there granddaughter) running around, screaming, getting on customers laps, while what seems to be the grandparents who runs the business is in the back cooking the food. It’s so unprofessional, very scary to even think that they have a little one running around without supervision and not knowing where she’s at. Oh and to top it all off the lady who runs it doesn’t do anything about it and lets the little girl interrupt our meal. Like if we’re the ones to babysit her. That’s a huge NO!

We were in town for a tournament and had a large party for the restaurant to accommodate. Besides the food being really good, the service was excellent. I wish we caught her name, but the woman who helped us really warm and friendly, and all of the families in our party commented on how happy she made everyone feel. The next time we’re in town, we’ll be back. Thank you!

Every dish is delicious! The tortillas are made fresh in-house. We love the food and they are our first choice when we want quality, genuine Mexican food.

Well, I need to stop thinking there’s any good Mexican food outside southern California. I’m not sure where on the pig the meat in the pozole came from, looks like maybe the spine. Twice as much bone and cartilage versus the actual edible pork. LOTS of hominy. Broth is bland, no spice at all.

The only thing I didn’t like about this restaurant is that I didn’t know about it sooner. It’s a little hard to spot when you’re driving down Clearwater Ave but once you eat there it’ll be the only business on Clearwater that you’ll notice again. It’s a very clean, family owned restaurant that cooks the best and only authentic Mexican food in the tri cities. If you’ve never been to Mexico then you won’t understand the value of the nutrition and flavor they put in everything they make. Just to forewarn people that don’t know what I might be saying, the large bones that you find in some of the soups are supposed to be in there. The bones add a lot of flavor and nutrition and are big enough that they’re impossible to miss. I love this place. The owner felt like that favorite aunt you love to visit.

Tasty warm chips greet you when you arrive. Margarita was decent. I ordered Camarones a la crema which was ok, I have had better. The best part was the fresh, thick homemade corn tortillas. They were so good! Experience was good enough I would like to try it again.

The Pazole was good. First time I have ever had it. My wife enjoyed her sopitas. Only reason not 5 stars is the ambiance is a bit lacking.

Family resturant all the way, I arrive early , usually only myself, I feel as though I might as well be stopping by a friends for lunch. Quick, good, cold beer, they always smile. Even though it is a sit down resturant, they still serve fast street style tacos. Carna asada, onion, cilantro, and a lime wedge on a corn tortilla. Simple. I take two, plus one dark Mexican beer. And they always start with fresh chips and salsa.. Nice authentic snack/small meal for way under 10$
