Looking for Mexican Food near Henry Horton State Park? This is the place! Amigos Mexican Grill Chapel Hill. The restaurant was clean and we were seated and served quickly. I had a great Taco Salad and my husband has his favorite chimichanga. Both we delicious. Yes they serve Margaritas too. There is a very nice outdoor patio but for 95 degree July weather it was too hot for us but I’m sure wonderful other times of the year.

I went in to get a drink and some salsa (I wasn’t very hungry) with a friend of mine, and service was very quick! We had several people working together to ensure that we had everything we needed. The staff was all kind and very professional, and i would recommend this place to anyone who wants a chill experience with mexican food. Only thing i think may bother some, would be the fact that three out of the four waiters were unmistakable white . Not an issue, I just don’t think that many would consider this a true “authentic” mexican dining experience, but I ain’t worried about it.

The Chips, and Salsa , sweet teas were great as was the wait staff. Location is kinda hidden off the road. Our shredded beef on the chimichanga and flautas was pretty bland and needed salt and pepper. But I would come back and give it another try. The menu had allot to offer. Thanks u guys!

We have eaten at 55+ Mexican restaurants over the last 7 yrs, rating our favorites and least favorites but I think I now have my new favorite. That is saying something because my old favorite had been just that for over 5 yrs. The salsa has just the right amount of kick, is chunky and thick enough to stay on your chip, the wait staff is friendly and helpful, and the food is fantastic. By the way, the BEST Tomales I have ever had at ANY restaurant I have ever been to. They have a unique item, Mexican cassarole, that is flavorful that I have not seen at any other Mexican restaurant. I highly recommend Amigos in Chapel Hill, tn to anyone who wants good food at a decent price and good service.

Love this place! From the time you walk in, you are greeted almost immediately, the staff is tentative, the food steaming when it just your table and most of all the owner is super nice, as he is always walking around like he cares about the place. I love it when I see owners hands on, as it tells me they truly care about their business and most of all customers. Hands down great experience every single time!
