Grew up here eating Godfather’s on a regular basis. Now I make it back twice a year if I’m lucky. Last few visits the restaurant closed the dining room at 7 so we’ve been unable to sit and enjoy the pizza…which is amazing…because we’re forced to eat on the go. Posted dining room hours are inaccurate. Could go earlier in the day, but that means leaving people out of our group while they’re still at work. Unfortunately this last visit I decided to try another place. This place I used to look forward to coming back for visits.

This place is old and run down but generally clean. The food is always good and fresh which keeps us coming back. But the prices are high for what you get. I’m not sure how much longer the building can be left in its current state before it becomes a bigger problem for them. it needs a remodel or perhaps they could move to a newer, empty building, in another part of town. Oh, and that darn fountain machine makes soda taste terrible. Someone take that out and put it out of its misery. Finally, they should update their hours as a closed store at 7PM for dine in has to be hurting business.

Our son was home and had been craving Godfathers. Their pizza is always a treat. We had a bit of a line to pick up our pizza but it worth the wait. It was hot, cheesy goodness that was mouth-watering and smelled so good we broke into the box on the way home! Yum!
