Yeah this place… stopped through omw to NC and was met by some very rude staff. Felt like I was being rushed to order like they had better plans and I was ruining them by taking my time to order in a place I’d never been. Final received my food and got back to my car, opened up the sandwich and it had little to no bbq sauce on it. The meat was dry as hell. I went back in and the Owner/Manager refused to even fix my order and demanded I “Get out if i knew what was good for me.” Never going back, recommend no one does. Owner/Management has anger control issues and acts like hes running a Michelin star restaurant.

It used to be my favorite. I liked it so much, I took my best friend and his wife there. I ordered the chopped pork sandwich. My friends both ordered the brisket sandwiches. They dropped me at home where I ate the better part of my sandwich, the balance was fat. When I talked with my friends, their experience was similar, except grissle took the leading role. My sandwich was bad enough but both of theirs were bad. I’ve not been back.

Based on how I’ve read they handle themselves over reviews that dislike their food, I’d never come here. Simply based on the way they act. Finding people on Facebook to write them and send them threats….. If you’re going to own a business you need to act like a grown up.

Will never step foot in this dirty disgusting place. It is horrible!!!!! I could not stomach eating here, my husband said he would try it n he did. The baked beans were in a dirty crockpot n the cold slaw tasted like it came from a vinegar jar. The meat was wrapped in tin foil. So sloppy n dirty!! I’m sorry but stay away!!!!. I am in shock that this place is open. How can this be? ?? ?

I wish I had listened to the other reviews and didn’t waste my money. The brisket is somehow chewy and so flavorless. The mac n cheese is extremely dry and the coleslaw has a weird brown tint and is absolutely disgusting? Their “Carolina” sauce is a dark brown color and super watery and grease like. There was only 1 guy doing everything and after I ordered my food and paid I noticed he had beard clippings all over his shirt like he had clipped his beard before coming to work. Probably won’t ever eat here again. I will 100% be waiting for Oldsmar Smokin’ BBQ to open back up. They are a night and day difference.

I’m not the biggest fan when it comes to BBQ but this food was so good. I initially just bought a small rib plate which was a great price. I chose the beans and Mac and Cheese and almost lost it. They also give generous portions. BBQ like this is how you make America great again! 🙂

This place was recently bought & the change in food and quality is noticeable, that’s for sure! I always get the half chicken special. The portions are huge, the prices I feel like I’m committing highway robbery! The chicken to me is perfect.. it doesn’t need a bunch of salt to make it taste better.. over seasoned meat is a no go for me.. it’s seasoned just right and all the meat cooks all day on an open fire stove thingy. Idk what it’s called but it’s fresh chopped wood burning under a old fashioned pit setup. This place is the real deal! The beans are delicious- a perfect combo of salty sweet, every meal comes w cornbread.even his bbq

Best BBQ I’ve had in a loooooong time! I drive from Largo all the way to Oldsmar to get this BBQ!!!!!! New owner’s are super nice & friendly, make you feel like family. My favorites are the sausage, pulled pork & chicken. My husband ❤❤❤’s the RIBS. The food doesnt need sauce but the BBQ Sauce (mild & spicy) are both extremely GOOD!!!!
