We tried this place on the weekend right before it started getting busy. Luckily we were seated immediately but I’d recommend making a reservation, since there’s limited indoor seating. This was the first time trying hot pot and we heard this place uses halal meat so we gave it a try. We were a bit unsure of how everything works but figured it out pretty quickly thanks to the menu and sign in the restaurant. I tried the beef combo with a spicy broth and while it was super flavourful, it was a bit too spicy to fully enjoy. I’d recommend getting one of the other broths and a chilli sauce on the side. There was a good amount of beef strips and vegetables but I’d recommend getting some extra meat or veggies on the side if you’re a heavy eater. We ordered some skewers which were good and some really tasty iced tea. Overall it was a good experience and the staff was very friendly. I definitely plan to come back.

Great little hot pot place! The broth was so flavorful. We ordered one with 1/2 1/2 of spicy and regular and another one with mushroom. So good and it’s BYOB! There’s a wine and beer shop across the street so it worked perfectly. Service is great and loved the little cozy restaurant feel.

This way my first time having hot pot in NJ since I usually go in Manhattan. We went on a Wednesday night, and compared to spots I’ve gone to in the city, this was so-so. Maybe that’s not a fair comparison to make, but regardless of that, the food was just *not* it. The spicy broth was way too spicy (even for me and I love spice) and too flavorful (which i didn’t really know was possible). It was nearly inedible, and I struggled to eat it.

Such an incredible meal!! Spicy broth is pretty spicy so I did half spicy/half mushroom broths in my pot and it was the PERFECT spice and flavor. Tried the plain mushroom also and it was delicious. Reasonably priced. Generous portions. High quality beef. Kind staff and very fresh food. Udon noodles were chewy and so delicious (my favorite add in and it comes with the combo). Can’t wait to be back!

Today we went to the BeiJing hot pot. It is a small authentic BeiJing restaurant. The fruit teas are very good. We tried the passion fruit and the mango flavors. The star jelly inside the tea are very tasty. The beef noodles are delicious. The shrimp dumplings and scallion pancakes are so good my son couldn’t decide which one he wanted for his second servings. We didn’t try the hot pot yet but definitely we’ll go back again. The staff are very nice
