I am updating my review from 4 stars to 5. They have done a lot of updates and really brings a great vibe. Each server I have had us been great. Last time I got a salad and had the homemade tequila dressing and it was incredible. I love this spot and is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Palatine and the surrounding towns for sure.

This place is a 3.5. It has a modest-looking outside, decent food, and generous-sized drinks! They give you free chips and salsa. The music on a weekend evening is loud.

Absolutely the best Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to and it’s on a side street in PALATINE of all places! Get the the molcajete mar y tierra, it’s really something!!! We also got a whole chicken and that was incredible as well. There are also these onions that are a surprise treat. We even heard the table next to us say loudly how good the onions are!

The food was okay, not great. I should have known not to order fries from a Mexican restaurant. It was terrible. The tacos lack any favor. The burrito bowl had way too much cheese. I will not be ordering from here again.
