Fabulous little rooftop!! Popped in tonight right before last call. Brandon, our server, was AWESOME!!! In fact, all the staff we spoke to were very welcoming even thought they were about to close. The drinks tasted great and not skimpy on the liquor. We will definitely be back next time we are in town!!!

Neat spot up on the 6th floor of the hotel. Has nice views of different directions around the city, particularly nice at sunset. They have a patio that is open when it’s nice out, and enclosed with heaters when it’s cooler. Cocktails are well prepared, and although we haven’t tried them, the small plates looked good.

Rockstar staff, superb drinks, excellent food. We stayed at the AC Marriott for 4 nights and enjoyed The Republic each evening. Sometimes it was for dinner, a pit stop for a drink before dinner, or a nightcap. Service was stellar each time. Flatbreads, desserts, and pasta were divine. The drinks stole the show. Highly recommend the Grandview!! Will definitely return when back in town.

I went in tonight with some of my friends for a girls night and we had a blast. They had a great cover band with a piano, which was a fun touch to our evening. We were able to be seated right away and had our orders taken in no time. The drinks and food came out great and quickly, I ordered the bacon jam minis and they were delicious. Our server was Brandon and he was so kind, and helpful. He made great recommendations and made sure we enjoyed everything. If he could be my server every place I went, along with the band, I’d be in heaven!

What a Great restaurant. Beautiful View. Food was Fantastic. We ordered the pizzas and had a couple Drinks. We had the perfect waiter. Brandon was so attentive and helpful. Loved his personality. We will definitely be back and hope we get him for our waiter every time.

I absolutely LOVE The Republic! The food and adult beverages are always delicious. I had The Traveler and it was mixed perfectly – not too much simple syrup and not too little vodka. We had great food – sorry no pictures. The only draw back is how loud the music was – for live music Wednesdays. The signer was great but it the volume was so loud people were moving inside. We could not hear one another speak and we were sitting right next to each other. Other than that The Republic is a MUST!

Made a reservation for Mother’s day at 1pm because I was told there was nothing available before that. When we walked in there was several empty tables and nobody to seat us. A guy from the bar finally came up to us and said it’s all open seating so go where you wish. After about 10 minutes, the first “server” that came up with water (and no urgency to do much of anything) and said “do you want a drink?”. Yes please! Ordered those and waited longer to get a food order in before flagging down a gal from another table. Super sweet and efficient server! She observed the first guy come out and serve drinks and she was not impressed. She apologized for his behavior and said she would talk to her boss about him. A few other mishaps of not having the food we ordered and she said some of it would be taken off the bill. Food came, all was good, but then she disappeared. Dirty tables all around the entire restaurant and not busy. While waiting a least 30 minutes for our bill, a lady walked in and told the guy behind the bar she paid a bill that wasn’t hers. Joking, I said maybe it’s ours because we are still waiting. She asked if we had chicken & waffles, yep we did! They fixed her bill but still never brought ours. More waiting….then my husband had to go ask for it. The director was very apologetic, felt terrible, took 50% off the bill and gave us his card to return again. It was definitely not their day and the staff was not customer oriented, except for Kelsi! And she was called in to help out on her day off so kudos to her. I hope they can get quality staff like her to keep them going. It is a great atmosphere and the food is great!
