A quick break from the office and easy 15-minute parking space. We grabbed a couple of slices of Lisa’s Special today at lunch. There was ample topping on the slice, and it was very tasty and delicious! The fries were perfect as well. There were a lot of people but quick service. It doesn’t get better than Lisa’s Pizza, OOB.

Starting with the good – the slices were big and hot. The bad is that they were big, oily and soggy. Got a meat lover’s, which tasted only of salt and overcooked meatish crumbles. All four meats were oily and tasted the same. Oil dripping off the slice, beware of getting any on you. No flavor to the sauce. Worse than any frozen pizza, and far worse than any pizza by the slice I have had all along the Atlantic seacoast – Virginia, Maryland, CT, NYC. It was one of the few places open during the off season. Couldn’t finish the portion and put me off my beer. Felt queasy the rest of the night. Did not try anything else, they were selling big portions of fries to a captive audience due to the odd closed days in this beach town.

Worker was rude to my granddaughters, a whole pizza took way too long. When we got it was doughy ,soggy, disgusting and way too salty. Wal Mart frozen pizza would’ve been 10 times better. Never again. It will be Bill’s from now on.

I love the fries but I never been a huge fan of their pizza. I like it and all, it fits right in with the beach atmosphere to me. (since it’s been there for my lifetime). A little pricey for the average carpenter working around the corner. Of course it’s still a tourist trap no matter what time of any season. Haven’t really hit the beach for dinner in a few years, but I noticed now they have quite an extended menu. Clam cakes scallops and chicken tender dinners kind of stuff. Haven’t tried anything but the pizza and fries yet, But I definitely won’t stop going back. Even if you don’t know John, you’ll recognize him. Keep up the great work!
