My favorite place in the Northern Neck!!! We recently bought land here and have been exploring the area and the food options were sad. And then we found relish and I was so happy! A real restaurant with a real chef and amazing food!!!!

We went to Relish this week for our Anniversary. Great Resturant, delicious food, wonderful service (Katie is great- as is all others), and wonderful experience. Miss Pearl shucking oysters was a true blessing. We had the oysters (I know, no r in July -but delicious), pimento cheese, summer pasta (light and hearty), and the salmon – freshest and best anywhere!! Wrapped it up with a nice tart key lime pie! There is something on the menu for everyone. Highly recommended!

Delicious food expertly prepared and served! Our waitress was outstanding as were all staff encountered. All this in a cool space in a neat town on the Northern Neck.

Relish is a lovely restaurant featuring awesome, delicious food highlighting local ingredients. We had a great time stopping in – the service was great and everyone was very friendly and helpful. We look forward to bringing all of our friends here!

Wonderful service. Very prompt and friendly. An employee was shucking oysters as I entered. Lovely decor, very atmospheric. I had the crostini, 2 different jalapeño margaritas, and the sliders. Everything was great. The little burgers were absolutely delicious. Toasted buns, pimento cheese, pickled onions. Every element of each dish was very well prepared and presented. I was especially impressed that when I asked the waitress for no bacon on my burgers she asked if I wanted to have my salad without ham, as well. Very thoughtful and pleasant. I got a slice of banana pudding cheesecake for takeaway. I’ve not tried it yet, but it looks lush and is apparently made by one of the waitresses. Really gorgeous little spot, highly recommended.

Relish knocks it out of the park every single time! The food is so delicious, and this is coming from someone who lives in a big city and has traveled the world. Carol and her team are truly something special. Every dish I’ve tried is incredible. The shrimp & grits is a classic, the chicken pot pie is uniquely prepared and so delicious, the meatloaf is southern and savory, the crawfish linguine is mouthwatering, the steak is local and tender, and the oysters relish is the best version of oyster Rockefeller I have ever, ever had. Don’t forget the desserts! All of the cheesecakes are to die for, especially the caramel cappuccino and banana pudding cheesecake!

This was our second visit. Food, service, and wine are all top shelf. We enjoy their seafood dishes, but there is a wide variety to suit all tastes. Great staff!

We had heard good reviews, so decided to try it. The chairs were hard metal things, with no cushions, the prices were high, $14 for a drink. The meal we selected, chicken pot pie, was a disappointment. Basically, chicken soup with a triangle of puff pastry sticking up in it. NOT PIE!!!
