Food was very good, the service HOWEVER was very lacking ! Other than taking our order ,and bringing it to our table no one thought to ask how the food was, if we wanted anything else ( like refills, more crackers, drinks to go ANYTHING. Waving your Empty glass in the air was needed to signal that you wanted something. Maybe the 3 workers were overwhelmed having to wait on 2 (two) tables with CUSTOMERS at the same time ??? Maybe they just didn’t want to be bothered.(although probably wanted the tip anyway) Typical for today’s workforce in today’s market. Won’t be back.

Every time I go here for lunch it takes them 15 to 20 minutes to get my food out to me. Not trying to be mean but I don’t understand why it’s so difficult to put chili and cheese on top of fries and on top of a hotdog.

I like this place better than skyline chili The chili five way is excellent portions are fair for the price you pay. I also recommend the garlic parmesan fries but instead of them using parmesan have them use the cheddar it makes the fries like you would get if you were in Ireland or England kind of awesome

To say I LOVE Gold Star is an understatement! I could eat something from Gold Star literally every single day. I love their chili. I love their cheese fries. I love their burgers. However, the Florence store is one of the worst. On this particular day, I ordered a chili cheese sandwich and an order of cheese fries. I waited entirely too long in the drive thru to receive both of my items barely warm. The cheese didn’t even begin to melt on my chili cheese sandwich nor my fries! I was so disappointed! I even let my fries set in the container closed to hold in the heat for nearly 10 minutes to try to let the cheese melt; it didn’t work. For a $10 meal, I was very disappointed. Won’t be going back to this location again. I love the Bellevue or Newport stores though!

Arrived at 11, one hour before close. I called and they advised they would be closing at 11:30 immediately. I told them I was in a big truck and asked if it would be ok to walk up to the window? They said “Dine in is closed.” I restarted my compromise (No customers in line or of recent.) He said, “Yeah, I guess that’s ok” I asked it would be ok if I ordered over the phone with an attempt to prevent any delays clearly they are having a horrible night for some reason. He replied, “Nope, you can order the window.” In the most condescending manor possibly. The manager in orange met with the younger guy to discuss the call.

NEVER again will my family eat at any of your restaurants. FOOD POISONING. Ruined the rest of my vacation visiting my father for Christmas. We are still very sick , only thing we ate that day was Gold Star. Just gross this could happen. The flight ✈️ home should be a fun one. Wish I could put a no Star for you Gold Star.
