I would have given it 5 stars IF my son who’s 6 wasn’t with us… because it’s super NOT kid friendly, although our server was super sweet to us! Leave the kids at home seemed to be the theme …but we do not… we just eat early! I love that they served my beer in a chalice as I detest mugs (women like beer too lol) .. my son had the Chicken and waffles, he loved it (no kids menu, but we don’t mind that) I had the Lobster and crab linguine , hubby had a Lobster roll! It was all very good! They LOOK like small portions but they aren’t.. it’s the dishes they use to plate… we will be back… without kids so we can enjoy the scenery! The location is superb!

EVERYTHING we ate was so good I would have ordered a second one on the spot if I could have finished it all. We sat on the water and the service was spot on. An additional tip, they have blankets for you if you get a little chilly and that was a wonderful addition.

We had an excellent dining experience at The Pointe. The food was great, as was the service (Alysa). The menu is very eclectic, with some amazing results. Everyone was very friendly, including Kevin, the owner who goes around making sure everyone is happy with the food and the service. The portions are big and the prices are very reasonable. We will be back and we will be recommending The Pointe to our friends and neighbors. Try the crab and lobster linguine. That alone will bring you back.

We went on a sunshiny afternoon and were seated on the dock. it was great atmosphere and view on the river overlooking Portsmouth. Service was great, got 3 small plates to share, all were tasty and beautifully presented. We finished with a chocolate pot de creme, very yummy.. We very much enjoyed the Pointe.

Very nice! Met up with friends so that made it even better. For me not everyone else I thought the menu was limited but I’m kind of a plain guy. Everyone loved what they ordered I had the steak a little pricey again that’s me but delicious. Our waitress Melissa was Awesome!!

This place is a favorite, a divine treat. We have visited as a couple and young family. Their menu is outstanding and always changing. Best clam chowder EVER! Dessert is not to be missed. If you like a liquor you will not be disappointed. It’s popular, call ahead!

Great food, but not typical fare. Very talented cooking staff. The plating was creative and very appealing.The drink menu was also creative and original, the ginger peach mules are delicious!!! The beer selection features local maine beer, a personal favorite of mine, along with the typical commercial selections. It was very busy, I recommend calling ahead to make a reservation. Even with the large volume customers the wait was reasonable. The location is breathtaking and the perfect place to be at sunset. The service was friendly and accommodating, while my rice dish came out later than the rest of my food the waitress was apologetic and I was comped a free drink to make up for it.
