Gem of a Mediterranean find right near Indy downtown. The restaurant ambience is super casual but the food is out of the world.

The 5-star is for the food and staff. Food is authentic and soon good. Portions are perfect, and sharing is the best option to get to try many of the delicious options.

We were in Indianapolis for a weekend and found this restaurant which had halal food. We had the take out order of their mixed grill.

I really enjoyed trying the food and experiencing something different. Food was perfectly cooked & portions were perfect (although maybe I didn’t need all the rice). We had the lamb & chicken platter, which comes with rice and sauces. It was a little frustrating ordering as several of the items we wanted were unavailable & we went at 1:30pm, so I don’t feel like it was that late to be eating lunch. But I do recommend their food. Very tasty. Full of flavor.

First time visitor. Food was well prepared. The hummus was especially tasty. All the food was very fresh and well prepared. I am not familiar with Middle Eastern food and the menu was well written with good descriptions and some background information on the culture. It wasn’t very busy so the food took a bit of time to come out, but well worth the wait. I recommend the saffron rice, lamb kebabs and chicken kebabs. Be patient with the wait staff, English may not be that strong. They are friendly and do their best. It was fun trying something new and different here in town.

Oh this place was . You can sit on the floor and order delicious middle eastern food. We had a couple of dishes (the Mendi Lamb and the Mixed Platter) and shared everything.

Had a really nice lunch experience! Chicken shawarma, fries and grape leaves. Great food at a fair price in a unique setting. Will be back!

I was hesitant to visit this restaurant because we had several options. The food wasn’t disappointed. The food was so pleasant and great. I wonder why no one there except the staff. No customers at all, we were three families came together. If I have another opportunity to visit Indianapolis definitely I will have a dinner in this restaurant.
