One of the best barbeque joints I’ve been to! They smoke their meats with a dry rub and dont drown the meat in sauce, instead it’s on the side for you to dip if you so choose to. The brisket was to die for! In fact, I actually bought a pound to take home. highly recommend checking this place out! it’s worth the drive

Enjoyed every aspect of my visit. Friendly, very helpful staff. Open kitchen layout was cool, and the ambiance down to earth and comfortable. Food was amazing. Portions were generous, and the brisket and ribs – tender, moist and full of flavor. Honestly can’t remember any better. Even the sides were special. The coleslaw fresh and crisp, the potato salad absolutely decadent. I’ll be back!

This place is the best barbecue I’ve had in this state, maybe ever. My son and I tried to be “good” and ordered small. He had the pulled pork and I had a 1/2 rack of ribs. By the time we were done my wife was ordering him and I another order of ribs. The beans were on point. The only low point would be the cornbread. But in the end this place could make you fat and happy if you’re not careful.

Best Brisket in the Northeast! My wife and I stopped here on a Saturday afternoon and were able to walk right in and order. Staff was very friendly and helped me understand the menu options and how i should order. I had the Brisket, my wife had the pulled pork. We also tried a couple sides. Everything was delicious, and best part is it cost me less than $30! Food is locally sourced and animal products are all natural not mass produced chemically enhanced garbage.

This cozy restaurant serves up amazingly good, authentic Texas BBQ. The beer selection is on point, and everyone was super friendly. You should come with friends and share a little bit of everything, but if you have to choose, get the brisket. Also try the cheesy potato side!

This is a great new find!! Charming casual log cabin atmosphere, fantastic smoker food, best baked beans I’ve ever eaten! Had Mexican smoked corn on the cob as a special. Add interesting beer selection and a very reasonable price tag, we will be back often. Give it a try!!

We really like this adorable place. It feels cozy. The menu is limited to meats that tastes great smoked. The turkey meat on the turkey sandwich was moist and smoked perfectly. Pulled pork was excellent. The soda can prices are a bit high. You can eat inside or outside. The bathroom is something to behold.

I loved the pulled pork sandwich. Hubby said the brisket, and wasn’t as thrilled. Two sandwiches and two drinks for $40 was rather high priced – too much for the amount of food we got. It would have been a little better if a relatively low-cost side like fries or coleslaw had been included, but we weren’t willing to pay extra to get them.

Update: This eatery closed a few months ago, unfortunately. The street sign and building remain. The door has a “thank you for your business” hand written sign posted on the window. Hard to do business in CT.

Being a self proclaimed pit master I was very impressed with the smoked meats. I had to have a sampling of everything. Lucky for me I was able to sample what everyone else at my table ordered…lol. I had ribs and brisket and wasn’t disappointed. No one at my table was. This is a must stop during our summer riding season.
