We’re a modern neighborhood restaurant serving new American cuisine. Our unique and upbeat atmosphere is inviting and fun for our guests!

Everything we do has a bit of a twist, including the intentional misspelling of our name. We’re on Fourth Street, so we added a “u” to “Fork” to pay homage to our location. Our name is fun, modern and intriguing, just like our restaurant.

FOURK serves food with a twist – traditional items such as steak, seafood, chicken and salads, but each is prepared with creative seasonings and sauces. We have chosen premium meats, quality seafood and fresh vegetables to ensure each dish is unique.

My parents and I went there for the first time this past Saturday and were so glad the reviews were right. We are big cooks so we have a high bar and try restaurants all over NC and New York/ New Jersey where we are from. We love sampling dishes so we ordered three appetizers of Brie, brussels sprouts, and a lobster dip. Then we ordered three entrées of the lamb chop curry, the Mole rojo chicken dish, and the seafood melange dish. We also had drinks of the red sangria and the cranberry kiss, and lastly then we ordered three dessert of the cheesecake of the day which was a s’mores cheesecake that day, crème brûlée and the apple dumplings a La mode.

We stopped in for dinner on a Monday night around 5:30pm. The restaurant wasn’t too busy and were seated immediately. The place was clean and staff was friendly. They had an interesting menu. We had the baked brie which had crushed pecans and cinnamon which was really good but really didn’t come with enough bread. We also had the ahi tuna appetizer which was delicious. I also had the shrimp tacos which were good but I think they could of used a crema to finish the tacos. Overall a great experience.

I have seen some extremely good reviews about Fourk and that it was a high end restaurant. The night I went there was a band, there was a group of about of 10-12 women sitting between my table and the band to the left of the stage if facing it. The waitresses kept bringing bottle after bottle of wine. The women were standing, dancing, waving their arms, getting drunker & drunker. They eventually were stumbling around the bar area, dancing, knocking into people , and falling down laughing hysterically. I mentioned it to the waitress and she was sympathetic. Nobody said or did anything, the other staff seemed to find it amusing. I won’t be back. The food was good though, and well worth the price.

Five star service from the Manager (Amanda) to our wonderful server, Katelyn, and especially the Chef and kitchen staff who not only made us beautiful, gluten-free and allergy-safe food, but also made us feel like our special dietary needs were not a problem! I felt so welcomed and enjoyed every moment. Terrific live music as well. Can’t wait to come back!

What a wonderful first time visit. Atmosphere was lovely, food (salad to entree to dessert) was nothing short of AMAZING and our sever, DAVE, was top a notch professional in EVERY way. 3 of us went to dinner and all agreed, we WILL be back!! Major GEM in Hickory. Well done, Fourk!!

Last minute decision to take a drive led us to Hickory for Saturday night date night. We are always ready for a culinary adventure. Fourk has some awesome staff that care about customer experiences. We started out with the Ahi Tuna Avocado appetizer which was so delicious my husband ordered another. The sun-dried tomatoes in the seafood mélange added some extra flavor that had me reminiscing of my time in Italy years ago. The manager was delightful. She took time to speak with me even though she was clearly busy & I noticed her running around the restaurant helping everyone and she appeared to be everywhere. You can really see her professionalism and it feels like she is invested in the culture of the restaurant. Our server Dave was a nice young man and did a great job. You have to try Fourk, experience for yourself their culinary delights.

The atmosphere, style, and service were very good, an interesting place. Some of the food was very good (tried the lobster dip appetizer) but some was just OK (salmon dish and the seafood melange), lacking full flavor. Not bad, but left me feeling meh.
