Quick pit stop while passing through. Not a whole lot to talk about outside of the chicken fried steak. The thing was huge (had to take half to go). The breading was done to perfection. The gravy was a bit runny for my taste and lacked a little flavor, but not bad. The quality of the steak is what I question the most. It was off to me from taste to texture. Not local to Rockdale, so cannot speak of other places. All and all not bad, but not great. I would give it 3.5 if I could. I don’t think I would ever stop here again and certainly wouldn’t go out of my way for it.

Pleasant surprise. Looks more like a bar than restaurant, but food was great and reasonably priced for quantity. Chicken fried steak and chicken were really good and the service was amazing. Super friendly and attentive. Will go back when passing through.

The Owner is rude. I used to eat here, everytime that I come Rockdale but now I will go to the Cameron Beer Market. As they treat their customers with respect and show their appreciation for me stopping by.

I don’t give anything 5 stars unless it’s perfect, which is rare, but the Ranch is really delicious. I had the onion rings and the chicken fried steak and oh my God! SO good! The onion rings are huge! I will definitely be back!
