Truly amazing!!! I travel all over the US for work and am a huge fan of sandwiches always looking for cool or unique places. The turkey was so moist, such amazing smoky flavor! The bread was toasted perfectly and so flavorful with the pickled cabbage as the perfect pairing to bring it all together!! I will be back again on my next trip!!

The Pickled Pig in Walnut Hills is one of my favorite recent finds. The small deli specializes in smoked meats and fermented/pickled sides. Orders are placed at the counter and the menu focuses on sandwiches and deli-style salads.

Great place to have an unusual quality meal in a relaxed environment! My favorite is the Pork Burger with kimchee & Gouda on a potato bun! Really good! They take the time to fixi it right and bot do they!

I got food from here the other day and it was delicious! The inside was super cute and I wish I could have dinned in instead of getting take out. The staff was friendly when I called to place my order and had my food ready on time. I got the smoked turkey sandwich and black bean soup which were both great!

I was dying for a “real” turkey sandwich and happened upon this gem in the neighborhood where I grew up. The sliced turkey was so moist and flavorful that I dont think I’ll want turkey any other way. The bread was toasted to perfection with a wonderful chew. I topped mine with pickled onions. This was a masterfully elevated sandwich. I also got a side of the potato salad. Wonderfully fresh dill and a perfect mayonnaise ratio. A gourmet meal at a great price point. Thoroughly satisfied

I can’t give a fair review just yet. We stopped in for a qhick bit and a drink before our ballroom dance class at the Essex center. My husband wasn’t hungry and I didn’t want to wait until after class to eat, so we stopped here and I had the matzo ball soup. The broth was good and thick. There were two matzo balls. It was hot and quick. Really hot. The broth was a good flavor. I had that and 2 Truth beers in a can. The sign priced them at $5 but they were six. For a cup of soup and two beers, it was $23 with tip. I’m sure we’ll be back considering it’s right by where we need to be and I may be able to give it a better rating. It’s a cool spot we probably would’ve never found, and it was fast, but it was expensive this time and I was just… Underwhelmed. Hoping to be able to leave a better review in the future.

We came here on a whim and my god were we unprepared. Everything was so fresh and cooked to absolute perfection. We were so pleasantly surprised with just how good the pairings on the menu went. We tried the pork burger, the chopped pork tenderloin (the day’s special), and the pickle boat. Everything was so good we left with a bag full of snacks. We’ll certainly be back!

Delightful! Had the special today, Pig rib w/ side of grits & fresh greens. I really didn’t know what to expect but I certainly wasn’t disappointed. My only regret is that I’m going to have to go back several times to try out the rest of the menu.

The food was prepared and put together nicely. The smoked turkey sandwich is mighty delicious. The matzo ball soup hit the spot packed with flavor. I will re visit

We took a day trip from Columbus to Cincinnati and between the art museum and jungle Jim’s decided we should eat before wandering a grocery store. We picked the pickled pig at random because it was near by and we’re NOT disappointed. We started with the pickle boat (the pickled egg and apples were definite highlights.) And had the pork tenderloin sandwich and the pork burger. Both were phenomenal. Everything was super fresh, and we’ll seasoned. The Thai basil was a perfect counterpoint to the tenderloin and the kimchi on the burger was some of the freshest, best kimchi I’ve ever had outside of Korea. We got fig tarts to go (made with fresh figs from chefs garden!) As well. Haven’t tried it yet, but I’m sure it’ll be just as amazing.
