Stopped here on our way home in SC from Maine. First 5 star review for a restaurant and it honestly deserves it. Had the roast Turkey it was great and there was plenty of it, service was excellent. Highly recommend this place.

In search of comfort food, we came upon this diner! We were promptly seated, and the waitress was surprisingly pleasant! Our food was out in a few minutes, which concerned me, she explained their process of expediting a high volume of food, it works! Only four stars because it was not hot enough for me; personal preference and the presentation does not justify how good the food was!!!

This was a crab cake salad. I don’t each much salad. Still was so good. And added honey mustard. You can order them separately if you want. Had the French onion soup loved the croutons in it. Did desert and stole the idea from another table. The blueberry pie with whip topping.

Being a traveler, I’ve gone to plenty of diners. While visiting the Harrisburg area, this diner was recommended. It’s in a large and growing area but the diner held on to it’s small, neighborhood charm which appeals to me. When I arrived and I seated quickly despite there being a large amount of people…the line moved quickly. The server was friendly and my food was served quickly. The portions were huge (the basic trademark of a good diner). The food was great and was almost too much to finish. It was an excellent meal. The total cost was very reasonable considering what I ordered and how much was on my plate! Then too, don’t forget about dessert. All appears to be homemade. When back to Harrisburg for the next car service, this will be be my first choice! Great place for kids and for larger families. The price is right! One word of caution for anyone with an autistic family member, it is loud and a lot of stimulation happening. Enjoy!

We noticed this place as we were passing and thought we would try it, because there’s people standing outside, that’s always a good sign! We thought we were going to have to wait to be seated, but we actually walked right in got sat very quickly and greeted by Julie, who took our drink order, and told me about her favorite thing on the menu, since I always ask the servers. She recommended the blueberry stuffed French toast, and I got it and it was delicious! The food can put very quickly!!!! My man got the chipped beef over toast, and he said it was delicious also! We never had to ask for more coffee or more tea, because Julie was very fast and efficient! Her smile and great service, made it worth a 50% tip! Looking forward to coming back here, when we’re in the area again!

Gone here for years it’s a solid diner with decent food. Used to have a broccoli cheddar soup, but I guess they don’t anymore cause the last time I was there, I asked about it, and the waitress had no idea what I was talking about. Definitely don’t eat here during a car show it’s packed, but otherwise, it’s a great place to eat. I love love that they do a discount punch card it’s neat, and nobody does stuff like that anymore.

I sat myself at the counter. I like that old diner feel of sitting up front. My waitress was a gorgeous blond ponytail with a button nose. She was first and foremost a great waitress. She knew her dishes, offered suggestions and was honest about some of the food (she thought the biscuits were a bit dry). I’m a passing through truck driver. If you’re looking for great food and great service with a beautiful smile, then this is your place.

Food was average – not bad, not great. Apparently smoking is aloud as a woman who seemed to be a ‘regular’ was smoking when I entered the restaurant. I almost left but there doesn’t seem to be too much else around. The waitress and chef were friendly toward me, but there seemed to be some underlying tension between them as displayed in their ‘lighthearted’ bantering.

Biscuits and gravy was absolutely killer. I was sad when I finished my food because I didn’t get to eat any more eggs benedict were also very tasty, as were the potatoes that came with both plates. Yum.
