Had the floutas with beans & rice! For me definitely in the top 2 for mexican food in SLO County. Service was great. May make this my birthday spot every year for sure! Highly recommend this place.

This new place has some amazing food. The Nachos were big and delicious. The fajitas with chicken, beef, and shrimp were amazing. But the tacos were my favorite. Especially the tortillas they come in. I and 1 al pastor and 1 Carne Asada, and both meats were great but the best part were the tortillas. Reminded me of the food abuela used to make.

The food was delicious, the portions were very generous, and it tasted authentic.I was welcomed in by friendly staff, they were very grateful for me trying their place for the first time. It’s very colorful and bright inside. The music is played at a perfect level and it isn’t the typical music played at Mexican restaurants. I would highly recommend trying out Martínez Restaurant.

When this place first opened, the food was actually quite good, and I was sorry to see not more folks frequenting the place . It’s been about 5 months but friend and I went back this week and neither one of us could finish our food. Just an odd funky flavor, no Mexican spice , dry chewy meat , and the salsa was mostly water. You needed a straw not chips . Something has changed and there was maybe five people in the whole place but with that kind of food not surprised.

Super disappointed ! Their sushi was highly advertised on their Facebook and instagram but poorly executed when you purchase it . The taste was absolutely terrible. They tried with the atmosphere…the salsa items on the tables are not clean and the silverware was not washed well. Our child’s food had hair in it & the shrimp we ordered was not cleaned out ! Prices are high for poor quality service and food .

Cute hole in wall place. Drive past it all the time and finally I stopped to check it out—I am glad I did. Really authentic and delicioso Mexican food. They have amazing sopes!! The horchata is also homemade and tasty. Great spot for a quick bite or enjoy your food on the outdoor patio. They open at 5am too!! Not that I’m ever up that early but it’s nice to know! I have only been here twice, the whole menu looks great and I plan to try more of it! Stay tuned! Thanks for the great service too!!

Got the pastor tacos and had little to no flavor… Have of the meat was over done, half was pretty raw. Also got a shrimp burrito. The red sauce they covered it with was not very good. Basically ended up tearing apart the burrito to find and eat the shrimp, then throwing the rest away.. Definitely looked a lot better than it tastes.
