I love May Asian Cuisine! I’m there almost every week. Haha. My favorite is the pork belly special, but everything I’ve tried so far have been really good! I also think it’s great that they have later hours, offer delivery without exorbitant fees, a cute little play area for the kiddos, AND a free meal on your birthday.

We love to try new restaurants, and are so glad we discovered this place! The food is excellent, fresh-tasting, and fast to arrive, and there’s plenty of it. The dining area is small and homey, with a great view, and the owner/chef is super friendly and treats all his customers like family. One of our party ordered the Mongolian beef because that meal is the first thing he orders at any Asian restaurant, as his standard to measure the food. This restaurant passed the test with flying colors- the Mongolian beef was delicious. We all enjoyed the hot pot experience. The boba smoothies are amazing; our teenagers plan to start taking friends there for beverages sometimes instead of sticking with coffee all the time. Everyone we know who has eaten here ends up going back again soon!

We were on our way to Copper Center and wanted to stop somewhere for dinner before our long RV drive so we stopped at May Asian Cuisine. Let me tell you, it was like stepping into your family or friend’s house but better. The food had a homemade quality to it but in a restaurant setting. Everything was so delicious. We liked it so much we stopped again on our way back to Anchorage. John was welcoming and is passionate about the dishes he creates.

LOVED this place. Cute little hole in the wall with a gorgeous view of the lake. Kind of off the beaten path but sooo worth it. John is so friendly and came out and chatted with us for a bit. Food was incredibly fresh and tasty. Would definitely come again! We really enjoyed the pad Thai and the veggie spring rolls. The vegetarian low mein was great also.

I’m so glad I found this place. I was totally blown away with how delicious the food is here. It’s probably the best Thai tea I’ve ever had, and the Pad Thai was super good. The fried rice was very flavorful, and the General Taos chicken was spicy and tangy. The crab Rangoon was crunchy and piping hot. Service was warm and welcoming, and right as I was about to ask for more ice water, our waitress appeared with a pitcher.
