So many people recommend this place. We were thinking to come here last Saturday for lunch hut line was so long. We had to wait for 45 minute to get the food, so we left and chose a weekday to have lunch here. I think the foods here are nice and unique but it is a little bit overrated. I don’t think it’s worthy to wait 45 minute for their foods. But if you are curious, it’s still nice to try. I love their fried Mung bean Fritters the most. The egg & shrimp rolls’ taste are kinda bland.

Very tasty combination platters and specialty teas. We ordered special #2, a breakfast platter, and Chao #1, a rice roll platter. First time trying these new dishes and were excited to eat here!

Found this place a couple months ago and gave it a try. Overall the food was delicious! Their vietnamese coffee was probably the best Vietnamese coffee I had ever tasted. It wasn’t sweet, you can taste the fresh brew coffee in it. I got the Chao 1 and one of the special banh cuon. Definitely would recommend to try this place.

Would drive by frequently on Mira Mesa Blvd and have always wanted to try. When it’s busy, there is a wait list. You order your food at the counter then sit. Food comes out quick. Got the shrimp rice rolls (I will not even attempt to spell it in Vietnamese lol) and it was a big hearty plate! Really good! Def worth the money. Highly recommend!

Let’s start off with the food, it is good, not exactly over the top, nor would I completely agree with the pricing (it came out a little warm, not fresh of the stove type). The peach tea does need work on, tasted bland with a little hint of peach (ordered 3 of those, all 3 were disappointing).

Very disappointed of the mango smoothie. And look very different from the picture. I think they use instant mango powder instead of mango fruit.

This was formerly Jason’s Pizza next door to Tasty Pot. We loved Jason’s Pizza but now the owner, Jason, turned it into a bánh cuốn place. Which seems to be more profitable with a limited menu.

Good food. But they are a bit expensive than I thought and if only order one entree for each single person, it might not be enough.

Saw this place featured on an article on Eater. My Vietnamese friend was ecstatic so that was a good sign. Looks like they’re still going through some new opening pains and the wait time cam be a bit long but looks like they were just over estimating to be safe. I waited about 15 minutes vice the 1 hour that was warned.
