The shrimps were hard and dry, and while the black sauce was tasty, it wasn’t worth what they charge for a meager portion of badly cooked seafood that left me hungry. I went back and tried more food because I forgot to read my own review, and I’m still underwhelmed. The pork in the carnitas tacos was a bit dry and the huazontle were just not sure what they wanted to taste like, no specific flavor besides the tomato sauce and the btlitterness of the herbs.

5 of us showed up on a Friday night without reservations and the friendly hostess was able to make space for us and we had an excellent meal. The service was great and the staff was able to address my food allergies with no hesitation. I was concerned about the price of the margarita but it really was one of the best I’ve had. All the food was great but the stand out was the Pastel de Elote. Also the space had a beautiful interior and great atmosphere.

This is my second time here and this place is DELICIOUS. The mole is imported from Mexico and has such complex flavors. The ceviche is unbelievably fresh, and some of the best I’ve had in Manhattan. The manager Luis was so wonderful and gave the best recommendations. The decor is sexy and a perfect place for a date. 12/10.

Actually so good! On Franklin, just off W Broadway. The crowd was quite the variety; Orans, Chanel, and Cartier Love’s abound. Made a reservation a day in advance through Resy. Mexican flavors. Everyone loved what they had and would definitely come back. Vida Verde & Constantino (?) cocktails were superb.

This place is beautiful. Good, flavorful margaritas. Blood orange one was tart and not too sweet. The guac and chips and carnitas tacos were fine, not terrible, not amazing, but good. The service was good, everyone was really nice, and the noise levels were good. It was quiet. Came with a friend for dinner and it was a really nice night. Easy to make a reservation online as well.

We had brunch there on a Saturday afternoon. I’m surprised it wasn’t busier. The service is superb, every on is so attentive. Best frozen hibiscus margarita I’ve had in NYC. My pals also thoroughly enjoyed their drinks. Proper mole enchiladas: delicious mole, perfect portion and. perfectly made enchiladas with the right amount of mole. The plantain empanadas were also delicious, and the corn cake served with espresso ice-cream was also just perfect. This is hands down the best Mexican restaurant in NYC.
