We’ve tried several Chinese restaurants in the Bowie area and this one is by far the best! Lo mein, general tso’s chicken, sesame chicken, vegetable stir fry all excellent, not too salty/greasy and full of flavor. A new favorite!

I love coming here, the food tastes like it was made with love, spring rolls are crispy and delicious, same thing with the egg rolls, I just wish it was open today, I really wanted to order some Lo Mein, and to the person who calls the place “old and dirty” it really isnt, and who cares if it looks old, that’s how you know the food is good unlike those other restaurants like Panda Express

Been eating here regularly for years. HG is consistently the best Chinese restaurant in Bowie. Delivery is prompt. Food is hot. Entrees are always fresh. This cost me $16.95 delivered. I can’t even finish it all lol.

So, I love this places food. I love their hot and sour soup, lo mein, dumplings and general tsos chicken. I have tried a bunch of places but this places has the best general tsos chicken I’ve ever had. The location itself is kinda dingey and the service isn’t always the best but the food… can’t beat the food.

Hadn’t been here in years but wanted some Egg Fou Yung (sorry if spelled wrong)so why not? The only thing that was surprising to me was that with this dish I am used to getting it with thick gravy but their gravy is thin. I would have preferred the thick. The egg fou yung itself was good and flavorful. I think for this dish I will stick to the other places I go to but I do know this place has delicious chicken and broccoli.

Not bad for what it is. Didn’t like that the sesame chicken was all dark meat, not the good stuff, but it was cooked well and still tasted good. Don’t expect gourmet but it is serviceable for sure.

Not what it used to be, but still decent. 3.5⭐ actually. No indoor seating, delivery available and they are closed on Mondays for now. Stick with the basics… Fried rice, lol mein, beef n broccoli, sweet n sour chicken. Soups are good too. If your looking for a more sophisticated dish, this might not be your spot. Good basic carry out.
