This place has a lot going for it – great service, children-friendly, and nice bar area. However, when it comes to food, it’s… meh. Everything from quesadillas to French onion soup, they were OK but nothing stood out as being outstanding. It is a nice place to stop by for those living near northern part of Evanston but it is not a place one would go out of way as destination.

Come here if you love cracker thin pizza. Careful about extra crispy bc it can burn easily since it’s so thin. Don’t expect to get full off of pizza alone. Cool atmosphere but can get packed very fast. Kind of hectic with pick up orders on weekend.

We stopped here for a late dinner and ordered the fried green beans appetizer and dinner. I had the Bluestone Melt (Patty Melt) with tater tots. My wife had a Reuben with Sweet potato fries. The fried green beans, while good were nothing special. They did not appear to be homemade. They came accompanied by a horseradish ranch which was homemade and decent. The Melt was very good… cooked very nicely, gooey cheese, grilled onions, and juicy. The tater tots were edible but had a flavor of overused, old cooking oil with some off flavors. So, the meal, overall had high points and a couple low points. Our service was excellent. Our servers were friendly, attentive, and got our food out quickly. The atmosphere was warm, friendly, local pub and sports bar vibe with TVs in every corner. The fireplace added ambiance on a cold snowy night. I would probably stop here again when I was in the area.

Very nice atmosphere, very family friendly. That’s all that was given, sadly. The staff are ill informed about gluten free options. After asking the staff(waitresses) to ask the kitchen as to if dishes were gluten free they became combative. The waitress argued that they don’t list their food gluten free, but “gluten friendly”. The attitude and level of unpleasant service lead our party to cancel our order (over a 75$) and leave.

Good food, good beer selection. It gets a bit noisy during busy times (the room itself is very acoustically noisy). The staff are super-nice.

Bluestone was gracious enough to donate food for our student film set, and I will say, the pizza and salad was incredible. They saved the day, and we will all 100% be going here to eat again. Thank you!

I ordered the bbq combo, which includes these excluding the fries, is a good deal at the price. The problem was when you go to eat. The wings, as you can see, were dry as hell. The pulled pork had a gamey taste. The baked beans tasted like straight out of a can. The baked macaroni and cheese was okay, the topping made it dry and it had no flavor. The cornbread was dry and no corn flavor. The only good thing was the coleslaw. I just wish it could have tasted better for the price.

Ate here on a Saturday evening, and sat outside on the patio. Prompt service all evening from start to finish. Food came out quickly and was very good. I would recommend the fried mac and cheese rolls, definitely a new dish for us. Other than that the ribs were decent and the pizza excellent. But menu has plenty of variety. Hope to return soon.
