Decided I didn’t feel like cooking so I thought I’d try pizza at papa johns instead of where I usually get it . It took an hour and 15 minutes approximately to get it and the delivery lady was very friendly but the pizza was barely warm and the chicken wings same and dry.

I made an order for delivery at 9:15 pm the app said 80 minutes before it would be delivered. That wasn’t a problem, but checked my order status at 10:00 pm and the app said that they canceled my order, and they were closed. Tried calling to find out why and no answer. That’s not great customer service for someone who spends $100’s of dollars there.

Really wish I would caught their names. But I forgot to order drinks for my order as I was staying away from home. But the gentleman that answered was very friendly and helpful. He explained all of his steps he was doing and how Id be charged. When the order got to me, I was delighted the driver was bringing it to my hotel room (that hasn’t been my past experience.). She was happy to deliver it to the room and so friendly. It was nice to see her still wearing a mask for our and our food’s safety! Thank you both!

I used to like Papa John’s. I wish I had taken a picture of the pizza. It was like 40% crust and 60% topping area. Like four bites of topping and I don’t usually eat the crust. Additionally I was unable to tell the difference between my wife’s cheese pizza and my “works” without opening the small boxes. They weighed the same so far as I could tell. The pizza tasted average with no distinction of taste. It all tasted like one thing. It was not a good taste. I brushed thoroughly afterwards just to clear the taste out. No more Papa John’s for me. I figured I’d give them another chance because the family owned pizza joint in the next town is closed on Monday. I’ll eat kale on Monday before I go to Papa John’s again. Sorry. Pizza was great. Delivery was unacceptable. I watched as the tracker on the Papa Johns website showed my pizza make very long trip. I’m about 2 miles from the store, and my pizza went about 30 miles south and back. It took an hour. So I called the store, and was told I couldn’t be seeing that because their tracker wasn’t working. I didn’t bother to tell him otherwise.
