I am not a breakfast person but, I LOVED this place. Everything was delicious. Their homemade hot sauce was amazing. The gravy was good. I was not prepared for the grits they taste very different than regular grits. You could sort of taste the corn and it was very sweet. But, I would go again for the amazing chicken biscuit with cheese and gravy

It was pouring down this day in Louisville so we thought we would try this place called big bad breakfast. We’ve tried other times but the wait was always so long. On a rainy day we got right in and sit down. My wife ordered the chicken and fries. The fries were delicious. I did not take a bite of the chicken but she liked it. I ordered biscuit and gravy. It did not come with a lot of gravy. So I asked for more gravy. That was an additional charge of $ three dollars. I didn’t think that was too cool. The Place was really clean and neat. They looked like they were fully staffed, which is a rarity these days. The atmosphere was good. Our server was good we would give it another try! Limited parking too, you will have to find a place on the street!

BBB was great! I recommend starting off with their breakfast margarita or their mimosa and then ordering a skillet meal! I loved the Hot Brown.. You can never go wrong with that! Very spacious and lots of seating so you shouldn’t wait to long for a seat. Great place to enjoy a yummy brunch!

Decided to try this restaurant on our last morning in Louisville and we were not disappointed! We sat on the patio, which was perfect. Our server Joshua was great. The restaurant was really busy, so it took a little bit for me to get my drink (the Breakfast Dude) and my son is caramel latte. Both were delicious and worth the wait. I had the Jack Benny and my son the Ham and cheese omelette. They were very, very good. The portion size was very filling. I would definitely recommend that you add this to your list of go-to breakfast/brunch spots for a tasty and filling meal. Well worth it!

Coffee was terrific, the steak and eggs were delicious, and the atmosphere was chill. My gf loved the big bad skillet too. Excited to try the rest of the menu. And you can tell this place is well managed: they had enough staff, no one looked worn out even though I was there not long before closing time. Our server, Ashley M., was also excellent. I’ll definitely be back!

Took a tour of the city and found this brunch spot on Barret Ave. We made reservations for a party of 3! When we arrived we were seated immediately. Once we ordered the food it arrived promptly and it was so good . I had a creole omelet and a buscuit, and the tomato based gravy was a perfect match. I even ordered a drink. The peach bellini had an unexpected kick and I questioned this Dainty little flute. Overall, it was a vibe, thanks Louisville!

I can’t say enough good things about our server Breonna at Big Bad Breakfast! Her service was exceptional, making our dining experience truly enjoyable. She is undoubtedly the best server here, with her warm demeanor and attentiveness. Breonna recommended the Big Bad Hot Brown and the Creole Omelet, and wow, they were hands down the best brunch dishes in Louisville! We were blown away by the flavors and presentation. When we return, we’ll definitely be requesting Breonna as our server again. Five stars for her outstanding service and delightful recommendations!

My first time in Kentucky. I’d never had a Hot Brown before and didn’t know what it was. It was so good! Incredible! Rich and filling. Big portion, had to take half home for later. My server Ashley was so nice, attentive, excellent service! I was there between 10 and 10:30am, I was sat immediately and service was quick and efficient. I’ll be back again!

Atmosphere was fun, had music playing. Servers had on balloon hats and of course Churchill Downs races on TV for Derby Day. Erica, our server was excellent. She was very patient with with my two young grandchildren and I. She was attentive and did everything right!! The Low Country skillet was delicious. It looked small but I couldn’t finish it all. I’m actually mad because I forgot my to go box…. My picky grandson loved the chicken and waffles, even though it was chicken tenders not fried chicken. The kids big bad breakfast was so so. The eggs were not great and were not eaten, neither were the hashbrowns or biscuit.
