What a great find! We have not been to Dayton in 20 years. Craving Mexican, and found this amazing place. Food was excellent. The prices were great. The people were priceless. Met the owner, Jorrge. He jumped right into our booth and had a drink with us. Nicest man ever. Runs a wonderful restaurant and truly cares about the people he’s serving. Would eat here every night!

We wanted to celebrate tonight and decided on someplace we’ve never been before. The other day we were driving down Wilmington Pike and I saw Jorrge’s so we decided to go. We were so impressed with everything. The restaurant was very clean and beautifully decorated. The owners are totally involved from seating you to taking your order. They have things running like a well oiled machine. We were seated by Jorrge’s wife. A young man brought chips and salsa immediately and took drink orders. Jorrge took our order. Someone else cooked it and another person brought it out. They don’t have waiters or waitresses, they have everybody! It was great. The food was fresh, well presented and delicious. I got the mini burrito which was the perfect size. My husband got shrimp chimichanga and he said it was very good. They even treated us to a dessert of sopapillas when I told them about our reason for celebrating. We will definitely return.

Jorrge’s Cantina has a great atmosphere, ice cold beer in frosted mugs and excellent, friendly service. Their chips and salsa is good. The salsa has a unique smoked flavor. Unfortunately, the entrees we ordered had no flavor and were an absolute let down. Also, the shrimp was like pre cooked and added. No seasoning.

Raspberry margarita was good atmosphere is fun the service has definitely slow. the food is okay. Both of our dishes weren’t exactly what we were expecting. We wanted to give the place a try and we did. Probably won’t go back. An hour after we ate both of our stomachs were upset.

The atmosphere is really cool. There are lots of fun lights in the restaurant. However, the service was kind of slow. The food was good but the restaurant experience lasted a little longer than a typical restaurant experience should be.
