Always ate outside the mall, when we came here. This time wanted to try the food court (called Dining Terrace, to make you feel nice).

I was there at 7:45 PM Saturday September 2 with my wife. My wife ordered 5 dinners and 4 drinks, she received 4 dinners and 4 drinks. My wife’s second language is English, her first is Spanish, which was perfect for my wife because the food service workers who were dishing up the food all spoke Spanish. There was an error with how many dinners she ordered so it was no big deal, she asked one of the workers in Spanish to make another please, to complete the original 5 dinners ordered. From that point things went south quick. One of the food service workers began to act differently, mumbling things in Spanish under his breath, which my wife understood. This turned into a very unfortunate and unprofessional exchange between the worker and my wife, she actually left in tears. She paid $75 Dollars for 5 dinners and drinks, we were expecting that, we didn’t expect a giant confrontation with a worker at all. In all honesty the food was okay, not good, not bad, just, whatever. Definitely would never purchase food from there again. You guys can make your own call on buying from them, it seems that they do not have respect for the customer.

This place has been a favorite stop of mine for years! Over the years I have had some good food and some great food! Todays was great! The chicken had great flavor and a nice crunch from the grill top fry. They are quick and affordable place for a great filling lunch!

From the cashier to the cooks giving you food the service was bad. They are angry and it clearly shows translating into a bad experience. Been going here for well over 10 years but the last few times left a bad taste in my mouth. Food is still good just piss poor attitudes

I am sorry to say, but this place at Westfield SouthCenter Mall in main food court, (is no longer one of my favorite places to eat.) Just went after long absence of not going here, with Covid pandemic and all. Decided to give them a try. First what they called “Steamed Vegetable” was not steamed or cooked on grill. The cabbage, carrots, and few piece of broccoli. Was raw vegetables. Tough and hard! Also the teriyaki chicken, was like very small chopped up chicken. So some pieces were almost burnt to burnt to hard little terds! The teriyaki sauce had very little flavor! There sauce 2 to 3 years ago was my favorite, but it is if after the pandemic shut down, and some business not having a lot of business. (There has been a drop in quality of the food served at this particular Sarku’s) The other thing I ordered was a spring roll, it with pot stickers all prior cooked and just sitting in a steam pan. It was perhaps one of the worse spring rolls, I’ve ever eaten. Even Panda Express is better then there’s! And the cost of $14 dollars and something, a meal in which I did not finish, and leftovers brought home were thrown in the trash. Will not be returning there ever again!

Sarku Japan is the best teriyaki you’ll find an any mall food court. Their chicken teriyaki is absolutely delicious. I recommend ordering the chicken with fried rice, ask for double meat and extra sauce, and add some Sriracha sauce at the end. Every time I’m near this mall, I swing by and pick up some food from Sarku Japan. If you haven’t been to one before, it’s a pretty common Teppanyaki experience. You order your food, typically some rice with a side of veggies and some kind of meat on top chicken, beef, or shrimp. They grill up the meat right there on the grill in front of you, and steamed vegetables as well. Ask for extra sauce on your teriyaki when you get it. You’ll thank me later. Usually they have a bottle of Sriracha sauce at the counter as well, so you can kick it up a notch by adding some to your dish, which I would recommend. This particular Sarku is located in my favorite food court in the area. The Southcenter mall food court is really huge, and nicely decorated. There’s a lot of seating, and everything looks a little higher end than most malls.
