Our family visited this fantastic cafe twice. Service was phenomenal and the food oh so delicious. Omlettes, skillets, French toast, biscuits and gravy were all enjoyed. Their Cinnamon toast they offer as a toast option was so thick and rich. If we are ever in the area again we will make The South Arm Cafe a stop along our journey.

We showed up 10 minutes before closing with a family of five. I am not one to do that so I turned us around and said thanks anyway… see you next time. They insisted we sit down and eat. The food was great (we all ordered breakfast). They stayed late to serve us and that really stood out to me.

INCREDIBLE! Best breakfast I’ve had at a mom and pop shop in a LONG time! Portions are AMAZING! Everything is scratch-made and it shows!!! I highly recommend the iron skillet. The cinnamon toast is a winner. Stop by if you’re heading to Boyne City or Charlevoix. You won’t be disappointed!

Hometown café with good food and friendly staff. We were visiting the area and it seemed this was a place for the locals to come in and enjoy breakfast. I got the sausage omelet with a biscuit and my husband got the Basics ( 2 eggs, American fries, bacon, and toast) . I also ordered a homemade cinnamon roll to go 🙂 My omelet was a little tasteless and rubbery but the filling of American fries, sausage, cheese and onions were really good! My husband enjoyed his meal as well. So glad we stopped in for breakfast and got a taste of East Jordan 🙂

My husband and I were staying at Torch inn and cottages in Eastport Michigan, You decided to go to South arm Cafe for breakfast, excellent choice, we loved the biscuits and gravy, my husband had the iron skillet, he loved the homemade wheat toast, it was the best breakfast we had in a very long time, highly recommend this if you get the chance to go there, we give this restaurant a very high rated 10
