The food was not as authentic as I expected. I got enchiladas that were made with corn tortillas and they just weren’t good. I had the 5$ summer margarita that was too tart. I think I should gone for the quesdilla or the rice bowl. I will try again just to give it a chance. the decor is nice and service was okay.

I’m always down to try somewhere I haven’t before, but like most people I think, I have “my Mexican restaurant” – the one I go to all the time. Karibe is something else in the best way possible. The menu is fairly inventive while still being very approachable, everything tastes amazing, and it’s all affordable. Highly recommend trying it out.

Food was just ok, asked that my husband’s burrito not have any green pepper in it and it was loaded with them and my corn tortillas were not hot. Staff is friendly and unfortunately the kitchen was short-staffed so our food took awhile and not hot. We get hit or miss service here.

I just moved to MS from FL. Came in by myself the staff was a little busy but they never were inattentive. I started out with queso blanco and guacamole one of THE BEST guacamole!!! Yes, they did bring free salsa. I ordered the steak Churrasco it came with the perfect amount of sides and onions. I also had a Cadillac Margarita!! I highly recommend this place if you have great taste buds! Will be coming back. The only regret I have is not ordering the 8Oz guacamole

The food was great. We walked into the wrong restaurant and ended up liking the food. We thought we were at another place in the area, but didn’t realize it until we actually sat down. The staff was nice enough to serve us even though they were closing soon. We all ordered tacos. I had 3 different kinds that were quite flavorful. We were in and out. The salsa and chips were a hit too. Thanks to the crew for taking us at the last minute.

Went in one Wednesday night with a friend and they were open. Figured we would try it out, and I am glad we did. They weren’t incredibly busy. The atmosphere was very welcoming and nice. Music isn’t too loud, and overall it is a rather relaxing restaurant. They have their own sauces that are home-made, and they are very delicious! I ordered their Rice Lover’s Wednesday deal of Karibé Rice with steak and chicken. It wasn’t long before we received our meals. Most restaurants do not season the meats. Karibé perfectly seasoned the meats both in their own way. It was great. Only issue is that there was a tad too much queso on the plate, but that is a MINOR issue. I enjoyed my meal and the restaurant and would highly recommend it to my friends and family!

The service was very poor. Our server, I believe her name may have been Minuela was inattentive yet she was attentive to her other customers. My food was borderline cold, no napkins were brought and we had to ask for beverage refills. After waiting for an unreasonable amount of time we also had to ask for the check and to go boxes. As African-American customers, it blatantly seemed as if she was avoiding us purposefully. This place obviously does not value nor respect our dollar.

I had seen this place before but never really gave it much thought. Finally decided to try it out. I would definitely go back again. It wasn’t very big inside, but still felt very nice, cozy, and welcoming. All the employees were kind. Looking at the menu, the food felt a little more authentic than other Mexican restaurants. I decided to get the achiete chicken burrito. It was good and tasted very fresh. Definitely recommend.
