Very relaxing/zen atmosphere! Hand rolls were delicious, crispy seaweed and very tasty and creamy inside. My favorite was the shrimp tempura with avocado, the dressing and texture was foodgastic! The Yuzu mocktail was delicious! Great experience!

I don’t remember what I ordered but it was all amazing. Pretty sure I ordered almost one of each. My top favorite was the shrimp tempura, crab, and the yam. So delicious!

The size of the rolls are comically small – about the diameter of a quarter. Talk about bite-sized! To add insult to injury, they were NOT flavorful and the seaweed salad had a generic spice – possibly red pepper flakes – which is very out of character. Maybe a better experience in person, but if you’re doing delivery, better heat up that frozen pizza…

A reminder to everyone who wants to try Saru Handroll Bar: Walk-ins only. I love a restaurant that doesn’t take reservations since the service is very quick. They opened at 5pm and was seated 1 minute after I arrived. Everything I tried was fresh! The 4 hand rolls off the set menu were delicious. You must order a miso soup since it’s one of the best I’ve ever tasted. Thank you for a great date night, Saru Handroll Bar.

Lovely, intimate spot and our group of 3 was seated immediately. Everything we ordered was a hit. The set of four were delicious- I particularly enjoyed the salmon hand roll. The daikon/pepper salad was incredibly flavorful and had great texture. Also very much enjoyed the miso soup, edamame, and buckwheat hot tea.

Haven’t been to sushi in a while noticed they had outdoor going the other day. Popped in this evening and couldn’t have been more delighted. The hostess was polite and emanated is inside immediately. Great menu with plenty of sake options as well. We had a ton of appetizers and they were all great. The special Salmon skin salad was noteworthy, very crispy and tender meat on a bed of spinach with a balsamic type sauce. Could have easily ordered another. The quality was exceptional. If you are looking for some great sushi this place is great.

This is my first time experience at a Michelin star restaurant and I really enjoyed it! I booked the reservation around a month earlier to make sure I can pick the date and time I want. They called me to confirm my reservation two days ahead of time and really made sure asking me if I have anything I don’t eat. The food is very fresh and the service is very great. The menu is fixed and actually was not as expensive as I thought (80 usd per person before tax and service fee) – 10 courses! The one thing I didn’t like was it is a little bit noisy when everyone is seated. It’s probably due to small space with a lot of tables very close to each other. Other than that, everything is great!

Phenomenal! One of the top 5 best meals I’ve eaten. Splurge to sit at the sushi bar. Chef Billy taught me so much while I savored each bite. The service was impeccable, led by manager Jack. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.
