In 5 years living in mid Michigan, we had never been to this town but found Boondocks to be a real delight! Atmosphere is very laid back and the clientele is very local – the place was packed which says they’re doing something right. The soup was excellent and burgers were top notch. Couldn’t point to anything bad or sub par in the meal. Definately making the drive out and heading back.

Taco salad is awesome! We also had pretzel with beer cheese, which we devoured. Staff was great. Atmosphere was nice. Will go back when in area.

The food was pretty good. We had the olive burgers and they were decent. The waitress was nice. There was different basketball games on almost every TV so if u like sports it might be the place to watch them. I like the wood work and flooring. It’s a pretty nice place.

Food, specials, and service have all declined over past two years. When it first opened it was great. Now just below average. We’re there on a Thursday at 9pm, pretty slow. It took almost hour to get our food. Wife’s pretzels were ice cold. Sent them to get reheated, and we never saw them again. They forgot them, we paid and left.

My wife and I always enjoy going to Bondocks. On big game days they are typically not over crowded and we can usually get a table. Service has been friendly and nice. I love their buffalo and elk burgers, always cooked to perfection and very delicious. Drink prices are reasonable as well.

Ribeye! That’s what I can say! So good! Chicken tenders were A+. Service was great price was great! I’m definitely returning as much as I can possibly make it out. Nice place to do a little black top drive grab some great food and a drink and enjoy the countryside!. Kale was my waitress and she was on top of everything!!!

Had a very nice time at Boondock’s. The place was busy on a Friday night, so service was slow, but they were apologetic, so no problem. The nachos were decent. Where there were of them tasted good, especially the ground beef, they just needed more of the good stuff – meat and cheese. I was left with just chips and veggies near the end. The menu was full of good looking items, so I can definitely see a return visit in my future. And they had Two-Hearted on tap, which I always like to see.

The waitresses seemed to not want to really bother us. We got our own menus, she did eventually bring out food over an hr later but never checked on us after. 1st time there and it will be my last time there.

It was the worst service I have had in a very long time. The place was busy with only one waitress. There was another server that worked there, but was not working there tonight, that didn’t offer to help the poor waitress that was working. The bar wasn’t that busy, but the bartender didn’t come out to help until at least an hit and a half after we were there. There was one gentleman that came in and it took them 45 mins to even come over and get a drink order and that was only after another customer said something to the only waitress. I will never go back there again. My husband said the burger was good, but my chili and my daughters mac and cheese were cold.
