We just moved to Arvada a couple of months ago so I’m looking for my Mom’s Getaway place which is always a Mexican restaurant. This one is definitely not in the running. I’d say this is really just meant to be a drinking place (tavern). You have to order, pay and tip before you get your food. I never like that setup. I would have had a 2nd beer if it hadn’t been a hassle. I paid $4.50 for chips and salsa (typically free) and I ordered an enchilada plate. I don’t think I specified a protein but I did ask for green and red sauce which is usually put on the plate in a half and half manner. What I was served looked a bit like slop. I didn’t eat it all. The salsa was the only thing I liked. Not the chips though.

Place is great. But the bar tender with dark hair and funny glasses is worthless. Only waits on ppl she knows. Sat there for 15 minutes trying to pay sense I couldn’t get a second drink. Watched her text on her phone for 10 of those minutes. Had to walk in the kitchen and the kitchen staff took my bill. Mgmt needs to have a talk with her

Worst experience ever! Seriously had to wait almost 2 hours to get food. Orders were half completed, some of our party received their food while others didn’t. Other parties showed up after and were in and out before we ever received any food. Manager on site very unprofessional! He took our order, walked by our table every single time he was delivering orders to others and couldn’t have the common decency to ever check on our party until we started to complain after an hour of waiting. We sat and watched the cook continue to move tickets around. Not a professional way to run a restaurant. We felt very discriminated seeing the people that were receiving their orders. We will never be back to this location! Better management needed for sure!

Probably the worst restaurant experience my family and I have ever had. After calling in advance to ensure capacity, restaurant was super short staffed for an event. We waited close to two hours for our groups to receive our food. Orders were half completed. Some of never received their food (even after paying). Groups who arrived after us received their food before us. Food started running out and there was no communication until we started asking where the rest of our orders were. For the ridiculous wait we should have received at the very least updates! Hopefully management can have better coordination in the future, we won’t be back.

We did a pick up order, I talked to a young man.THEY got half the order wrong!! When I call they said come back. We thought for 3 tostadas and a beef enchilada, oh no, the tortillas were really stale and they put some hamburger, if that’s what it WAS, in a cup!! No apology just argumentative! Horrible food and the worst customer service!! GROSS PLACE!!!!! Don’t Go!! THEY SHOULD CLOSE BEFORE THEY MAKE SOMEONE SICK!!
