Menu is very limited. You’re not able to choose your pasta + sauce (which they only offer 3 sauce options). It’s pretty basic to expect an Italian restaurant to allow you to order any pasta with a variety of sauces. That’s not the case. You have to order how the menu reads, no alterations. That was very disappointing. My daughter wanted the spaghetti pasta with butter and we were told no. Focaccia bread was over done and almost burnt. They also don’t have any regular soda products, basically only Italian sparking and water. Expectations were pretty let down. The building itself is nice with some cool decor. The cooks in the visible kitchen never smiled back, seemed to have aggravated attitudes. Also disappointed there was no Italian music playing. We didn’t hate it but also wouldn’t go out of our way to return.

We visited for the first time and had a great experience! We arrived around noon on a Sunday and found plenty of outdoor seating. There was ample space inside too, and the store design was very airy and cute.

Cute little place. Overpriced for what it is IMO. The food is good and tastes really fresh but none of the flavors wowed me and there’s not a lot of variety to the menu especially for vegetarians.

Only had the tiramisu to go from here. It was incredible and I highly recommend getting it.

Tortello Chicago truly impressed me with their vegetarian-friendly options. As a vegetarian, it’s often challenging to find exciting dishes at restaurants, but Tortello had me covered. The flavors in their tortello and the delightful aroma of their freshly baked focaccia bread left a lasting impression on my taste buds.

Sat outside on a Sunday afternoon for a small snack. We split the roasted eggplant salad and the tortello. Both were excellent and some of the best pasta we’ve had in Chicago. Definitely will be back again 4.7/5

We ordered 3 of the most talked about dishes here: the focaccia with honey ricotta, the tortelli, and the cacio a pepe.

It’s an amazing place, kind and quick service and awesomely delicious food. We really enjoyed our visit and recommend it to for dine in or take out. It has a decent amount of vegetarian options which is appreciated!

This place is a breath of fresh air. They make everything from scratch, and you can taste it. They don’t have pop. They only have lemencello and blood orange in a can. They have Italian alcohol drinks. When you walk by the restaurant you see the staff making the noodles. The restaurant has a scooter hanging from the ceiling. The owner is from Italy and he has made his place very authentic. The outdoor seating is so cute. You can drink a glass of wine under twinkle lights and feel like you’re in Italy but really in the heart of Chicago. To start we had the focaccia bread with ricotta and honey. The bread was warm and delicious. For our entrees I had the Tagliattelle Tina. It’s a meat sauce with fresh noodles. He had the Signature Tortelli Di Burrata. It was a noodle filled with cheese. You go to the register to pay and order then the staff bings you your food at the table.
