Shake was awesome (forget the name, but it had mango in it). Food was great, friendly service and accommodated making grilled cheese for our kids; great salad with Ahi. Small lanai out back, comfy couches, tables. Thanks so much!

Shark’s coffee has become a staple to the big Island on the Hilo side. Everything is fresh from Shark’s farm where he grows, harvests, and roasts his own coffee and cocoa. The smoothies and shakes? Delicious and refreshing. I recommend anything with coffee and ice cream. The menu also boasts fresh salads, sandwiches, and wraps that are more than satisfying. You really can’t start the day in Hilo right without making a stop

Mr. Ed’s bakery next door has GREAT food! We went here for shakes for dessert. Flavor was good, but the texture was more like thick milk or thin smoothies than shakes–too liquid to call a shake.

Decent choice for coffee in this area. Actually, it’s the only choice. The barista was channeling a NY city vibe when my wife asked for her latte at 135 she rolled her eyes and said I don’t have a thermometer. So we went with drinking temp. Don’t expect fast or friendly.

Our tour was so much more than we expected. Alexey was a wonderful host and walked us through the whole process of harvesting coffee, vanilla and chocolate. The best was when we made our own chocolate.
