You MUST stop here and get a drink or shake! I highly recommend the sour patch liftoff tea on a hot summer day or any day really. It’s iced! (If you like tart drinks). The Corner Spot is owned by amazing people and have great workers! It’s a nice little place to slow down and have a nice conversation, while enjoying a drink. You be the judge and check it out for yourself!

Today’s work location! It was laundry day so we headed into Placerville to hit up the laundromat. Yelp is our go-to for finding new (to us), well-rated places, especially since Art is an Elite Yelper. Searching for coffee and tea, The Corner Spot shows up right across the street! A quick look at the menu confirmed that it would be the perfect place for us. It is a healthy café serving shakes, teas & other nutritious treats. We also got to meet the most awesome people! Owners Jami and Abraham were manning the store. We felt warmly welcomed upon arrival, and as the wide variety of options were explained. Everything we tried tasted so decadent, it felt like such an indulgence! They are so in-tune with their customers that if they see you grooving to the music playing, they adjust the playlist to keep you moving. So we worked, first sipping teas then meal replacement shakes for lunch. I had the Chunky Monkey and Art opted for the peanut butter cup. Ermahgerd… so delicious!

We love the Corner Spot! We love to get a shake and not feel like we are loading up on sugar. The flavors are delicious, and I always enjoy trying new flavors from their seasonal menus. The owners are fantastic and sweet, the kids like to hang out and color, mom gets a treat…it’s a win for everyone!

Completely obsessed with this place. Totally feels like you’re having a milkshake for a meal, no sugar crashes, so yummy and good for you! I text ahead and my order is ready for me when I get there. Always greeted with friendly faces, super clean and mellow vibe inside. So glad my friend showed me this awesome spot. You guys.

Love this place so much! The kindest people, yummiest drinks. This is my family’s favorite outting for a late morning healthy smoothie and tea! They’ll even bring my drinks out to me if I text them and tell them I have my kids in the car and don’t want to unload them. I mean who gives that level of service to customers!?
