This used to be my favorite Jamaican restaurant. I don’t know if they changed chiefs but the oxtail is watered down. I’m a Jamaican and I can cook so I know how good Oxtail should look and taste. I tried the jerk pork too the last time I was there and it was burnt and full of sauce. The food is very expensive so you guys are doing an injustice to the community when hard working people send $80 to $100 food and the food is not good. Please change who is cooking your food. The servers and staff are very nice and polite. It’s just a shame one of the most expensive dishes is not good anymore.

Waited in line for a very long time! One employee sitting playing on her phone! The other slow as she can go! Instead of taking my order she start clearing the food trays! I just left! Teach your employees about customer service and respecting people time! It should not take that long to get food already prepared! Throw the whole restaurant away! Will not be back!

The food isn’t all that bad but the cabbage is raw and crunchy. It’s like they cut the cabbage and put it out to be served. The curry chicken is good. The rest of the food is ok. The last time I went in there none of the food was covered and there were flies flying around. The cabbage was raw so I decided to leave and go somewhere else. The last few times I’ve been here the cabbage is barely cooked or not cooked at all.

I ordered the large oxtails dinner. The oxtails were burnt which made the meal taste bitter. For any price, a customer should be satisfied with great customer service and superior food. I did not get any of this service with my $25 plate.

My expectations are never high entering this establishment. I try to go and make my visit as quick as possible – which seems almost impossible. There were maybe 3 ppl ahead of me, i spent over 25 minutes just to order a few Patties. Everyone moved slower than snails. No one had any sense of urgency or any care to move more efficiently. The woman waiting behind me stayed it best, “did i need to have lunch before coming to her my lunch here”. That day, that wasn’t a bad idea. When i finally got served, ordering 6 Patties , the worker says “you’re taking all the patties”. I assumed the Patties were for the taking (eye roll). After waiting for 25 minutes, i have to hear a worker complaining I’m buying what is being sold. Then after ringing me up, the employee took another 3 minutes just to slowly put my food in a bag. The workers always seem upset about something. I’ve endured one too many attitudes there to even continue going back.

So I had the taste for some Jamaican patties. I stopped by here and decided to get the veggie patty as well as a shrimp patty. The prices are pretty decent for the patties. The veggie patty is $2.20 and the shrimp patty is $2.65. I had never had the shrimp patty and wasn’t really sure how I would like it but it was super duper tasty. I was definitely a little disappointed with the veggie patty, which had a lot of the frozen mixed vegetables in it, which I tend not to like. Definitely was not authentic, definitely was not homemade, and I definitely will not order it again. Both were very flaky, which was a plus. The restaurant was busy, so I’m assuming the rest of the food is really good. I’ve never had it so I can’t speak much on that. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was also friendly. I did like how they put the patties inside a wrapper that specified which patty I had. Definitely plan to return to get the shrimp patty only.

My first time going there was quite interesting. The large size women that was there had an attitude on1000. She was very rude to me but very nice to my husband. A certain person of a different race can be very rude to a person of a certain race. The same but one is from America. They really show their hate. I mean and for no reason. No matter how nice you are. I will never ever eat at a none American restaurant again. If they hate you just by sight, just imagine what they’re doing the food. No thanks. Ain’t right. Place could be more sanitized..

The restaurant was spotless, they had customers social distancing while lined up to order (dine in is thankfully not available at the moment), the plates are all affordable, they’re heavy handed with the sauce (a true blessing), and their customer service is efficient and immaculate. I am extremely satisfied with the curry and jerk chicken plates that I ordered. Today was my first time purchasing from this place but it definitely won’t be the last!
