Ordered the chicken tender meal, fast service. Good quality. The prices seemed high for fast food, but I don’t go to allot of fried chicken places.

Service was friendly but slow, since they were understaffed. Chicken was good, and I loved the huge variety of beverages, but the cajan fries were less than tasty. Their dipping sauces were also pretty good. If I have a better experience next time I will give them 4 stars, but for now they are just okay.

Can’t say enough of how much I LOVE their chicken! Everytime I’ve went there, the chicken tastes as though they just fried it. And their biscuits are DIVINE.

Last 3 times we’ve been to this location out of chicken, out of French fries, out of something or other. Soda machine out of most everything.. Some really good employees, others don’t give a #!&%€. Needs a good cleaning, especially the windows. Tables always dirty. When chicken strips available, they are delicious. Cole slaw also…

The associates are friendly. I’ve been to this specific store 3 times since we moved here always spending over $40.00. Every time they take my order and money, only to tell me after I’ve already waited 5 minutes that the chicken won’t be ready for 13, 11, 9 minutes. So I wait because the hassle of getting my money back and find another place all while my family is waiting at home for dinner. I was never offered a discount or drink for the inconvenience and on top of that, the “times” they gave for the chicken were all lies. I’ve had to wait almost 30 minutes ALL 3 TIMES I’ve been there.

The food was excellent, the customer service is what earned this 3 stars. The guy at the window seemed like he hated his job. Never said anything kind or welcoming at all.

Great chicken but very poor customer service. We have been to this location several times and have yet to have a pleasant experience. The staff is rude, the orders are either wrong, incomplete, or multi-piece orders are half or more filled with wings, or the dining room is dirty. On one visit they kept giving our chicken to drive-thru customers while leaving us sit waiting for our order which we finally received over 45 minutes later. The owner of this store, and the others they have opened, need some management training. Until then, the Boise area’s first Popeyes on Fairview remains the gold standard for quality and great customer service.

I’d give it less stars if I could. We were pretty glad to see a popeye’s go in closer to where we live but it’s always a disappointment with this place. Been there several times hoping they would get stuff sorted out but it’s ALWAYS the case they are out of something – usually multiple things. They run out side offerings and even CHICKEN every time we’ve been there. Seriously – how hard can it be? To add to that frustration, last time we were there they got the order incorrect, which I didn’t discover until I got home. Chicken was greasy and the fries were soggy and completely inedible. The portion of popcorn shrimp I had to wait an extra 10 minutes for was ridiculously small. This place is incredibly poorly managed. We will never go back.

We went here after seeing several commercials of herb and pepper flavored chicken… It’s not. The chicken seemed a bit more real than other fast food restaurants but honestly for the price, not worth it. The best thing about this place is the side dishes. The Cajun fries and mashed potatoes are pretty tastey but the chicken itself is pretty bland and ordinary. I don’t think we’ll go back.

It pains me to do this because I LOVE Popeyes, but this location is unequivocally the most poorly management restaurant I’ve had the displeasure of patronizing. I cannot think of a time when I’ve been there and they’ve not been out of SOMETHING. As other reviews have mentioned they’re always out of some variety of chicken, which is pretty amazing considering that chicken is literally the foundation of this chain. I understand that franchises are independent operations, but the fact that corporate allows this subpar location to even bear their name is astonishing to me. Tonight they were out of popcorn chicken (their advertised special, mind you), mashed potatoes and gravy, mac and cheese, and had to make more fries – a three minute wait according to the person in the talking box, which apparently translates to about ten minutes of real world time. The real kicker is that when they’re on point, the food is fantastic; however, that’s so rare that I can’t justify giving more than 1 star. I really hope that whomever runs this place gets their s**t together because I really would like to support them but I’m beginning to find that almost impossible.
