Food is great! Servers are fast and the cooks really get you going. Has a bar and serves all types of booze. The place is nicely decorated but with the food this good it stays packed. It’s small, clean but the seating and tables need an update. Give this place a try and you’ll be pleasantly pleased.

I have been coming to 7 Leguas Mexican Restaurant since they opened. I consider this to be one of the best Mexican restaurants I have ever eaten at and the best Mexican restaurant between Anderson, S.C. & Athens, Ga. The food is always very good, the service is excellent, and the staff is friendly and personal. The atmosphere is authentic, and prices are reasonable. I sincerely hope this business continues to prosper as it is a fine representation of the community. One of my favorites is the #26. The chili rellenos are great!

Love this place! I am so glad I found it. Truly one of the best Mexican restaurants in the area!!! They have a wonderful salsa bar and the chips are amazing too! I will be coming back here again real soon. If you want a light lunch and on a budget then try their Deluxe Chicken Burrito from the à la carte menu section. For $5.50 plus a nice tip you are still cheaper than going to fast food restaurant and so much better!!!

We’ve been going to this place for over a year now weekly. Consistency is key for us and they never disappoint. Portions are big, non greasy and endless fresh hot chips and multiple salsa choices. Go for the food, cold beer and friendly service.

Hard to find really good Mexican around here with it being a smaller town. I only wish they’d cut their vegetables smaller for inside their quesadillas, their way too big and barely leave any room for the actual steak so it ends up being 1/3 steak and the rest thick vegetables that aren’t cooked all the way through. Cozy interior with a small bar. Staff was quick and attentive after we sat ourselves. The drinks are huuuge. Gut-busters we call them. Our order took longer than the average order but it was hot and I have to assume they take their time, which is fine, this is Georgia! The rice was great. The ground beef is average but what I did like is it was not salty. I really like they chips and salsa. The salsa is mild, slightly chunky, but not too salty and tastes very fresh. I think the chicken was really flavorful and not dry. The chicken enchilada was very good. I got rice, beans, and a taco for $5.75 at lunch on a Wednesday. They have drink deals like margaritas $2.50 Monday and Tuesday. Their menu is very big. I am not giving this 5 stars because it’s not “amazing,” but it is “very good.”
