Came in sat down. Not busy it’s 12:10 on a Saturday. Clean place. 10 min later you’d pretty waitress takes my order. Catfish appetizer and tea. 30 min later she brings all of it. Tea included…. no salad no tarter sauce no silverware no napkins…. whatever I ate it anyway food was good tea was fresh so half way thru it melted ice and was still warm…. finally at 1:40 I had to go find the waitress and when I do she’s just playing on her phone…. $35 bill no service at all…. small place not bad food but good lord man…. fix the service

Imagine a full plate with a teaspoons of BBQ sauce. A BBQ restaurant is charging you extra if you want the sauce. Mos5 ridiculous thing I have seen since charging 5o pay your bill. A month later they are still charging for BBQ sauce and the took the cheese out of the macaroni

SOPHISTICATED VISION
For the last couple of weeks I’ve had an insatiable appetite for some good bbq. This time around Google suggested Dickey’s Barbecue Pit. The parking was sorta tight but it’s additional signs to help direct vehicles The inside was dim and cozy and the staff seem happy even at the end of the day. The waitress took the time to help us decide on the best deal, and I took that to be very courteous of her. The ribs were tender but the Mac and cheese left me not quite as impressed as the waitress said… but everybody taste buds are different. They were out of sweet tea, but given that they were only an hour or so before closing… I didn’t hold it against’em. But in all truth and honesty the waitress did say they would make some… but by this point the food was already bagged. The upside is, the order of 18 ribs two sides and two biscuits was ready in under 8 minutes. But beware…. to feed 2 or more will run about $50!

I would have loved to try this place, but they’re not even answering their phone at 6:15 pm on a Saturday. Given the reviews, I wanted to call first to make sure they had supply of what I wanted first as it is said that they frequently don’t have common items. However, even when attempting to patronize this place, it’s a no-go b/c no one can be bothered to be professional enough to answer the telephone. Oh well, I saved time and gas, I guess.

Dinner was good and the food was delicious. They have 2 unisex bathrooms. Not sure I would return tho. They appeared annoyed we walked in. The setup was weird, and I think its inappropriate to talk about customers when they can hear you. I wore my mask appropriately and by choice, hers was protecting her chin while in the kitchen cooking.

So… the amount of disappoint i Can say is a lot. We walk in and no one is there at 7pm on a Saturday. Which should have been a hint but we were tired, hungry and been on the road a while. They didn’t have half their menu. No ribs??!? It’s a BBQ place guys…. No baked potatoes. They charged me almost $18 for a 3 meat platter. They didn’t have half their sides. The portions they hand out were -SMALL-. I left there still -Hungry-. Which is a feat in its self. Like how do I order one of their biggest meals and leave hungry still after clearing my plate. It wasn’t even good bbq flavor too. I was highly disappointed. 0/10 ain’t going back
