I like Bon Chon food, but this is not the best Bon Chon location to eat at. It smells stinky sometimes, doesn’t look clean inside, and is overall very sketchy. So if you are looking to eat Bon Chon, don’t go to this location.

I’ve gone here for years and love the food. However, tonight’s order had 3 HAIRS in it (before I stopped eating.) In both the rice and chicken strips. I don’t think they wear proper hair coverings while they cook. Very disappointed and won’t be returning.

Stick to the chicken – it’s what they do best. We ordered soy spicy combo lunch and chicken katsu. The chicken was hot and crispy, as were the fries. The portion was more than enough. I would 100% recommend. I would avoid the chicken katsu however, it was a little dry, and the sauce not what I was expecting. No outdoor seating that I saw, and indoor was all marked off for socially distant.

We ordered curbside pickup. Easy to order via the website. After ordering drive up and check your email from bonchon. Select “I am here” and they bring your food out to you. We order a 30 piece soy garlic chicken strip, potstickers, shrimp shumai and pickled radishes. Very delicious.

I have never eaten at this location, I have only ordered for pick-up. The fried chicken drumsticks are incredible. They offer spicy and soy garlic both are delicious choices. Because the fried chicken is so good I’ve never had an opportunity to try anything else on the menu. My go to order is drumsticks half spicy + half soy garlic. You will not regret selecting this establishment.

It’s a no go. No bugs or hairs like other reviewers, but we won’t be back. Got sliders which would’ve been great if it actually had chicken, no joke, the pickle was thicker. Also the Korean fried wings aren’t right. Sauce is fine but they aren’t breaded right like good Korean fried chicken.

They changed the recipe! The one thing that made BonChon so notable and so good (and worth the price) was the fact that the chicken was so good and unique! Now it’s actually kind of bad. Too much heavy breading, tastes different, and just not the same. We used to order from here on special occasions. Even my picky kids liked the soy garlic strips. Now they won’t eat it, and I don’t blame them.

Our usual location on Pickett in Fairfax is temporarily closed so gave this location a try and am beyond disappointed. Just got back with our pick up. We got the spicy family meal and the chicken was burnt all the way through. There was barely any sauce either. I knew the second I opened up the box as the color was off! It’s not like we even got take out at peak hours! I even tipped 20%…for pick up!!! Never coming to this location again. We’re easy to please and are completely sympathetic with the industry considering the current environment but this is unacceptable. This location should’ve closed down, not the one on Pickett.

Be careful about the TIPS SUGGESTION printed on the bottom receipt when you dine in. They’re printed the whole order amount tips at the bottom of the receipt even when you separate the bills. We paid around 30+% tip because we’re writing the tips based on the suggestion. It’s not our original thought and really annoying since there’s little service we received. Also the wings are EXTREMELY SWEET& SALTY. Never come it again.
