Ginza Ramen’s pork katsu (Tonkatsu) is the best in Detroit area! If you are looking for real Japanese style Tonkatsu (thick sliced cut) , this place is the one for you. You can get a Tonkatsu at the most of “Japanese restaurant” here, but the most of Tonkatsu is thin sliced cut witch is good too, buy not real Japanese style. However, Ginza Ramen’s Tonkatsu is the thick sliced cut and juicy inside and crispy outside. They provide with their original source which is really nice, but I would to have one with regular Tonkatsu source as well. It will be nice if they gave me an option. I would like to try some ramen and different dishes when I go there next time

First time, this place is authentic. How do I know? they have the food display outside. All authentic places have those. The ramen was amazing. Our appetizers were hot, and crunchy. the complimentary canbage salad was fresh. So good!

Excellent. The service is exemplary. The ramen and the katsu came out quickly. Everything was fresh and tasted fantastic. The restaurant was clean and quiet. Ginza Ramen was a pleasant dining experience.

Upon entry the building has a very warm and homey vibe to the facility. The location looks and smells very clean. The waiting staff was ready to seat us and opened to our time tables. I even enjoyed a side conversation with the staff. The Ramen bowl came with the salad shown in the pictures. The ramen was warm and flavorful definitely on par. The salad was fresh and crisp. The spicy shrimp katsu roll was mostly constructed and tasted clean, fresh and satisfying The overall experience was very enjoyable. I will come again when in the area.

I love a good donburi bowl, especially unagi don. Didn’t disappoint! Almost as good as some fresh caught eels made into unagi don in Japan! Calamari was pretty good too, very crisp. Food came to me extremely quick even when I was pretty packed in there.

The Ramen is so good it is in the name! The shrimp burger wasn’t nearly exciting but still good. The really great tasting for me was a small beef curry for 6 or 7 dollars. It’s like eating spicy gravy with tender beef. If I had rice I would have poured it over it. Service is fine atmosphere was fun. Price in this inflated economy was pretty good. I almost forgot the Gyoza was delicious!

The gyoza was one of my favorites, the takoyaki was good but was a little spongy. I had the miso ramen which was good would recommend. They do fall short by only putting half an egg in the ramen.

My friend mentioned about this amazing katsu place in Rochester, so we decided to give it a try. The place looked beautiful inside and it smelled great. The people working there were very nice and welcoming. We ordered a lot of the food from the menu. They came out relatively quick. All of the food tasted just as good as they looked. It was amazing. Very flavourful. Katsu was crunchy and delicious. The price was reasonable too. I am definitely coming back for more. Definitely give this a try. It is a busy area, so parking can be difficult, but there are plenty of spots.
