Unfortunately this place was awful. The service was SO slow, the waitress was awful even though she only had 3 tables. She took one of our cups of tea for a refill and she was gone with it for 10 minutes!! She took a guys order who had just come in at the bar while we had been waiting for literally 15 minutes for her to come take our order. We didn’t get the correct food but figured we didn’t want to wait another 10-20 min for her to bring a side of tartar sauce or the correct potato toppings. Insanely slow service–and when we did actually get service, it wasn’t good. Also the food was 2/5 and it was very expensive. Also a weird menu, and very limited options. Blue cheese stuffed chicken–yuck!

I ALWAYS try to give them the benefit of the doubt , given I have worked in the food service I personally know how it can be sometimes. As for our visit here , we stopped by while on vacation , left very disappointed, will not be back & definitely wouldn’t recommend this. Service is #1 always! We walked in through the main entrance , talked to one girl who said sit wherever you want , we’ll be right with you. So we seat ourselves in the patio area, 20minutes go by and we still haven’t seen a server , no menus , no drinks. Another server comes out and wipes off a table , asks if we’ve been helped, no we hadn’t , we wait 15 more minutes , I go in and just ask to get a menu, told he was on his way to me as he’s talking to another worker. Again , I know how it gets sometimes but the restaurant was not busy, this was a Tuesday. Finally we get menus & watered down drinks , no straws, fine , we goto order & the server doesn’t use his book which I would assume is the reason he messed up our very simple orders. No refills, no one checked on us after we got our food. Disappointing, this place has a great atmosphere & it has potential but lack of service or clearly lack of communication. We were there for an hour & a half before we got our food total. There was 2 other tables near by I could overhear wasn’t happy.

The menu seemed nice, but we were served undercooked food on two plates- one being undercooked chicken. The server shined his cell phone flashlight on the plate and blamed the lighting, not doing anything about the undercooked chicken. The staff were inattentive in general and not timely with the food.

Went to eat at your restaurant February 14,2023. Food was terrible. Ordered the chicken cordon blue. No ham or cheese in it. Vegetables and mashed potatoes were cold. Food took to long and it wasn’t even busy. Hire yourself a new cook. He doesn’t know what he’s doing. I came at 5pm.

Our first time for dinner at Bayside and we will be back! Excellent service by our waiter, Zane and manager, Deb! Enjoyed the Salmon dip appetizer, seafood soup and split the Ozarka fried fish with fries and cole slaw. Full bar and wine list and excellent dessert menu.

Everything was going good at first until it got to ordering the food. The menu was already small enough and when we ordered the wings, they were out. Later, we ordered the shrimp skewers and they were also out. A member of our party ordered a sandwich to which a kitchen staff ate and they didn’t receive their order. We left but they still made us pay for the appetizers even though we had waited an hour while they basically canceled all our orders because they were out. Although, our waitress was kind and kept apologizing for all the trouble.

We were very pleased with our experience. The atmosphere was great for date night. Our server was attentive. The salad bar was small but still had plenty of options and was clean and fresh. The food was plated attractively. This was the best prime rib I personally have had, even from much larger cities.

Our experience at Bayside was beyond phenomenal. The service was excellent. Zayne was a great server. The steak was the best I have ever had. The lasagna was amazing as well. The cheesecake was the cherry on top of the experience. If you go to Bayside, request Zayne as your server. You will not be disappointed. Better than Ruth’s Chris in my opinion.

Service was excellent, however, meal could have been better. Beef Bourguignon was not authentic. No carrots, pearl onions or bacon. Tasted of vinegar instead of red wine, beef broth and tomato paste. Really expected that as the new manager is a French-trained chef. Please consider adding a few more selections of wine by the glass, as not everyone’s palette cares for Canyon Roads: I know mine doesn’t. Will patron again to see if it improves with time under the new management.
